Ogre shoved Jin aside. It was trying to absorb Jun's powers.
It grabbed Jun and wanted to kill her when suddenly a familiar white light appeared.
Angel.
She attacked the monster, causing it to drop Jun.
Angel flew to Jun and guarded her with her wings. She carried Jun off the ground and started flying away with her.
"Jin!" Jun exclaimed, reaching for her son. "Angel! My son! He's still there!"
"He'll be fine. He's stronger than you think."
"But the Devil Gene?"
"What's meant to happen, must happen. It's in his blood. We can't change fate."
Angel took her to another dimension.
"You must stay here until the time comes," Angel said. "I return you to your realm when the time comes."
So Jun stayed there. She watched whatever that was going on in the real world.
She was happy that Kazuya survived being thrown into the volcano but at the same time, she was devastated to find that he had become even worse than before.
But she was also satisfied that he could control the Devil Gene and had killed Heihachi.
But at the same time she was also saddened to find that the Devil Gene managed to take control of Jin.
She was even sadder to see that he created war all around the world.
"Has he forgotten my teachings?" Jun asked herself. "Has he forgotten what I taught him?"
Angel suddenly appeared, surrounded by a white light.
"He has not," Angel said. "He did all of this for a reason. Only, he did not know how to undo it.
"But don't worry," Angel continued. "He can undo it. I will help him."
Soon, Jun saw that the war disappear and the world going back to normal. She felt proud of her son, but at the same time, saddened.
He wasn't the same Jin that she raised. He wasn't the same cheerful, happy young man that she knew.
He was always trying to fight his father.
Who in turn tries to kill him to retrieve the other half of the Devil Gene.
He hardly smiled, he always frowned.
He held a deep sadness towards his mother's death.
If only he knew.
That she was still there, watching over him from another dimension.
But Jun knew.
That cheerful, happy young man was still there, living and thriving
Deep inside the soul of the CEO of the Mishima Zaibatsu.
Longing to come out and show himself.
But he can't.
The sadness he held inside didn't allow it.
(Oh wow I made a poem lol.)Angel came to Jun again one day.
"It is time," Angel said, letting out a hand for Jun. "It is time to go back to your world."
Jun smiled. She held onto Angel's hand as they were transported back to the regular world.
Jun looked around. She was at the ruins of their home in Yakushima.
She looked around and saw that there was even grass growing on what used to be their home.
Jun started crying as she remembered everything that happened that day.
"Poor Jin," Jun said, crying. "I shouldn't have left him."
"Don't worry, Jun," Angel said. "He is in Tokyo. You can see him there."
"But how?" Jun asked. "How am I gonna go there? I don't have any money! My car's gone, and of course my accounts have been frozen."
Jun ran to where she last parked her car and found it ruined. It was an eighth-generation Honda Civic.
"My car!" Jun exclaimed. "But it's ruined..."
Angel smiled and restored it with her powers. It looked as good as new. Maybe better.
"Here are the keys," Angel said, giving her the keys. "And here's some money. It's enough for you to get yourself together for the next few days."
Jun smiled gratefully. She thanked Angel who disappeared.
She took her car and drove it to the ferry terminal. She went to Tokyo.
She went shopping and got herself some new clothes and food before booking a hotel.Jun was looking out the window, watching the tall Mishima Zaibatsu skyscraper.
"Jin..."
Suddenly, something flew in the wind and hit her face.
Puzzled, Jun took it off her face and looked at it.
It was a pamphlet promoting a grand dinner.
And it was hosted by G Corporation.
By Kazuya Mishima.
"Kazuya...?" Jun whispered, looking at it in surprise.
She remembered the day she parted from him.
I will win. I will return, I promise. Wait for me, Jun. Wait for me till I come back.Jun POV
I'm still waiting for you, Kazuya. But I feel like you're the one who's actually waiting for me.
Don't think I don't know, Kazuya. I know that you still long to see me, deep inside that pointy, shark-head of yours.
And I long to see you too.
I'm coming for you to this grand dinner, Kazuya.
I read the pamphlet and turns out, it's a masquerade ball.
Perfect.
I went to the mall and got myself a nice ball gown, a mask, and a wig.
I'm gonna go in disguise.
Lets see if he can still recognise me.
The pamphlet said that it's this Saturday night in the G Corp banquet hall.
Great!
Saturday came and I dressed up. I even contoured my face to look different.
I checked out of the hotel. I don't know why, but I felt like I had to.
I drove to G Corporation and parked in the parking lot.
It was quite hard to find a parking spot since the place was full.
I went to the entrance of the banquet hall and saw Kazuya.
Oh god...
He was covered in more scars than before!
Kazuya was greeting the guests and was smiling at them.
It felt good to see him again after all those years.
I walked up to him and he looked at me intently.
Does he recognise me?
"Have we met before?" Kazuya asked. "You seem familiar."
Okay, he doesn't. Lets keep this charade up.
I just smiled and quickly walked into the hall. I could sense that he was staring after me.
I found an empty table and sat there, satisfied with my privacy.
Well, it didn't last long.
Three ladies came and sat with me.
One was wearing a red dress, one was wearing a purple dress and the third was wearing a pink dress.
Red dress and purple dress feels familiar...
I've felt their energy somewhere, but can't remember where...
"Uh hi," purple dress suddenly said. "What is your name? You seem familiar."
Alright, I sense something sinister. I better change my name.
"Jenna," I said. "I've never seen you before."
"Oh okay," the lady said. "Where are you from?"
Why is she so nosy!
"I can't tell you," I said. "We've only just met."
"Okay then," purple dress said and turned to red dress. "Primrose, what time is it."
That's a weird name. Must be fake...
'Primrose' looked kinda confused but then answered. "Oh it's 7.pm, Violet. Do you wanna go grab some snacks?"
"Sure," said Violet. "Roxy, wanna come with us?"
"Okay but what about the table?" Roxy asked.
"I'll keep your places," I said. "You go ahead."
They nodded and went to the buffet table.
They came back a few minutes later with some snacks. Honestly, those two feel so familiar!
Violet whispered something to Roxy
She nodded. She took out her phone and took a selfie with Violet.
They started eating. Honestly, it made me hungry too. So I decided to go to the buffet table to get myself some snacks too.
Why do they feel so familiar? Do I know them ? Have we known each other before? Were we friends?
I grabbed some snacks and went back to the table.
The three of them were having a conversation.
"Did Jin say anything?" Primrose asked.
"Wait let me check..." Violet said.
Jin? Is it Jin? My son? Jin Kazama?
I was so shocked that I dropped my plate. Who are they?!
"Jin?" I said, shocked. "You know Jin? Where is he? Tell me! I wanna see him now!"
"Tell me who are you first," Violet said.
Her voice sounded different.
It sounded so familiar! It was a voice I haven't heard in more than twenty years!
It was Nina! No wonder her energy felt so familiar!
What is she doing here?
"Nina?" I said, much to their surprise. "Nina is that really you? What are you doing here?"
"Who are you?" Nina asked. "You tell me first."
I looked around. There were many people around. It wasn't safe to speak here.
"Can we talk somewhere private?" I asked. "Like not in this hall? I brought my car, we can drive somewhere."
The three of them looked at each other and nodded. They followed me outside.
When we were walking out, Kazuya looked at us in surprise.
"Leaving so soon?" he asked. "But the party has only just started!"
We just smiled.
"Hehe personal stuff..." Roxy, or whatever her name is, said.
He said nothing and we just bolted. We went to my car.
Nina and her friends were groaning and uncomfortably walking with those long dresses.
We got in and I started driving out.
"Tell me now," Nina said when we were quite far away from G Corp. "Who are you?"
I sighed.
"You see Nina, this is gonna be very unexpected," I said, stopping the car.
I took my wig off and wiped my makeup away. Nina and 'Primrose' gasped when they recognised me.
"What in the world?" Nina said, shocked. "Jun?!? Where have you been all these years Jin needed you? How come you only showed up now? And why did you attend the G Corporation dinner party?"
"I was about to ask you the same question," I said. "I thought you worked for Jin's company?"
"Yes we do," said Nina. "But we came here because the idea of a very grand annual dinner party open for public seemed fishy."
"So where do we go now?" I asked. "There's no where else to go besides the hotel room that I'm staying at. Even that, I checked out because I was planning to walk into another hotel as it wasn't very comfortable."
"Let's go to my place," said Nina. "There's plenty of room for you there."
She began to tell me the directions and we soon arrived at Nina's place.
She lived in a very beautiful purple mansion.
We entered and I brought my baggage in.
The three of them were sitting down without their masks and wigs.
'Primrose' was Anna? What's she doing here? I thought she hated Nina and worked for Kazuya?
I've never seen 'Roxy' though.
"Wait Anna is here too?" I said in surprise. "But aren't you working for G Corporation?"
"No Jun, I used to work there," said Anna. "I retired from the G Corporation and decided to get married."
They told me the whole story. I'm glad that Nina and Anna have reunited.
"I'm glad that you decided to work for good, Anna," I said. Then I pointed to the third girl. "But who are you? I've never seen you before."
"Oh I'm Shasha," The girl said. "I'm new here and had recently joined the tournament. I'm from Malaysia."
"Nice to meet you," I said, giving out my hand.
Shasha held my hand to shake it but suddenly gasped and redrew her hand.
"What is it, Shasha?" I asked.
"Your hand," said Shasha. "It feels different. I mean, it feels human, but very pure and different."
I explained to her about my powers that could suppress the Devil Gene.
Nina said Asuka has these powers too but she isn't aware.
Ah. She's still young. She'll learn as she gets older.
"I guess we better call it a night," Nina said. "I'm so tired with walking with heels, wig and makeup. Anna, how do you wear so much makeup and stilettos everyday?"
"Oh you'll get used to it," said Anna. "By the way, I don't wear THAT much makeup on a daily basis..."
Nina gave me a room for the night. She has so many rooms here!
The next morning I insisted to make breakfast and they really enjoyed it.
"Should we call Jin?" Anna asked. "You know, to tell him about Jun?"
"Yeah I think we should," said Nina. "The poor boy misses his mother so much."
"Yes I wanna see him too," I said. "Please call him, but don't mention it's me. "I wanna surprise him..."
"Sure wait let me call him," said Nina. "But I doubt that he would be awake, it's the weekend after all, and it's only 8.00a.m."
She dialled the number and the phone was ringing on the other end. She put the phone on speaker mode.
"Hello?" A sleepy voice asked. "Who is this?"
It was Jin! It feels so good to hear his voice again!
"Uh Jin, it's Nina," said Nina. "You have to come over quick! It's very urgent!"
"Ooooh what now?" Jin asked. "Did Kazuya do something?"
That's not nice. He's calling his own father by name! But then again, Kazuya wasn't the best dad...
"I can't explain over the phone," Nina said. "Come now!"
"Urgh fine," said Jin. "I'll come alone."
"Okay we'll be waiting," said Nina and hung up.
"He'll be over in about an hour," said Nina. "Now we wait."
About an hour later, I sensed Jin's energy getting nearer. Then we heard the sound of a motorcycle. He always wanted one, but I didn't let him since was too young back then.
"Jun, hide!" said Nina.
I nodded and ran to the dining hall. I heard voices from the living room.
"Why did you call me?" Jin asked. "What was it that was so important?"
"Well, Jin," said Anna. "Remember yesterday at the dinner party?"
"Yeah what about it?" Jin asked again. "Was there anything important that happened there?"
"Well not really..." said Nina. "But do you remember that woman we found familiar?"
"Yeah she looked a little familiar and I feel like I knew her well," he said. "But that isn't important. Did you find out who she is and why she is very familiar?"
So they sent him a photo of me? Jin...
"Yes we did," said Anna. "She is right here with us, actually."
I made my entrance and Jin stared at me in shock! He suddenly began crying and so did I.
We ran and hugged each other.
"Mom!" said Jin. "Where have you been? It's been so long since I saw you."
"I think it's time I explain myself," I said. "The reason I've been missing is..."
I explained the whole story to them. I also explained how I felt suspicious to see them at the masquerade.
Jin told me to stay here with Nina. He said it might be dangerous for me.
He was trying to protect me from Kazuya's Devil Gene.
Jin stayed for lunch and then left. He looked really happy to see me.
Finally, I see that smile on his face again.
