Halloween: Part 1

31st October
It was the morning of Halloween and everything was just as peaceful as any other day.
Jun woke up early and made her way towards the kitchen to make breakfast. There was gonna be a Halloween Party hosted by Lee at his mansion that night. She chuckled as she imagined herself in the deer costume she prepared. Kazuya was gonna dress himself as a werewolf, even half-transforming for the claws.
But then, Jin and Lars seemed to have a lot more different costume ideas. Jin said he wanted to wear a strange-looking white garb with his insignia on it. Jun kinda found it weird since she never really saw him wear it before. Lars, on the other hand, was gonna be dressed as a ninja, even styling his hair into a crescent-shaped ponytail. Jun had no idea how he was gonna do that, but it was his idea, and he seemed really excited for it.
She chuckled and put two slices of bread inside the toaster. All of a sudden, an agonised scream broke out. Jun dropped whatever she was holding in surprise as she ran out of the kitchen.
Jun met with Amber in the living room. She was sure it wasn't her since the scream sounded masculine.
"It sounded like Jin!" Amber informed as they both ran towards his room.
Kazuya came out of his room too, yawning with his hair still a mess.
"What was that?" Kazuya asked when he saw them running.
"I don't know, I think Jin just screamed," Jun informed.
Kazuya snorted. "Probably saw a cat or something."
"Are you really his father?" Jun groaned.
"Jin would never scream at a cat," Amber added.
"Even she knows this despite not raising him herself!" Jun pointed out as they rushed into Jin's room.
To their horror, Jin was lying on the ground, in front of the bathroom.
"Oh my god!" Jun ran towards him. She crouched next to him and tried her best to revive him. "Jin! Oh my gosh! What happened?! Oh no..."
Amber rushed to him too and joined Jun to try and revive him. Kazuya got an idea and walked past them into the bathroom.
Jin was jolted awake by a cup of water splashing onto his face.
"Kazuya, what the heck?!" Jun complained, wiping the water that splashed onto her.
"Hey look, he's awake!" Kazuya diverted her attention back to their son. "Oi Jin! Are you okay?"
"Heihachi-san?" Jin murmured, his eyes still closed.
"That doesn't sound very good..." Amber gulped.
"Oi Jin!" Jun shook his shoulders. "Are you okay?"
Jin's eyes fluttered open. Jun heaved a sigh of relief.
"Oh thank god, you're okay!" Jun said, wiping the water off Jin's face. "Why did you scream?"
Jin simply shrugged, a confused look on his face.
"How did you fall?" Amber added.
"And what the heck did you do?" Kazuya added at last.
Jin just looked at him, a bewildered look on his face.
"Well, I can see that he's okay, so I'm leaving," Kazuya said, turning around. "Jun, come on. He's probably just shaken up from falling down like that. I'm gonna go brush my teeth."
"Your breath stinks," Jun got up. She smoothened Jin's hair off his face and smiled. "Come on, Jin. I'm making Western Platter for breakfast."
Amber stroked his face and left with her counterpart.

Jun and Amber laid plates of food down on the table. Everyone hungrily sat down to eat.
"Where's Jin?" Jun asked.
"Probably sleeping again," Kazuya shrugged.
Another scream broke out.
"Oh no, was that Jin?" Jun said, worried.
"Again?!" Amber uttered, equally worried.
"Nah, too high pitched," Kazuya said. "Sounds like Lars."
The three of them ran towards Lars's room to see if he was okay. To their surprise, Lars was lying in front of the bathroom, much like Jin.
"Oh no, now what?" Kazuya groaned as Jun tended to the unconscious Lars yet again. "Why is everyone fainting on us today?"
Kazuya went to the bathroom again and grabbed Lars's cup on the shelf, filled it up with water from the sink, and dumped it on his brother's face. Lars woke up with a gasp and closed his eyes again.
"Oi, what's wrong with you?!" Kazuya exclaimed, violently shaking him by the shoulders. "OI!"
"Kazumi..." Lars murmured.
Kazuya slapped him. "Snap out of it, idiot!"
"Heihachi-san!" Someone exclaimed, much to their surprise.
Everyone turned towards the source and gasped when they saw Jin standing at the doorway. What made it worse was the fact that he was wearing a white kimono, complete with a Tasuki sash. His hair was even styled into a tiny ponytail pinned up by a golden Phoenix kanzashi at the back, with his fringe styled in a v shape.
"Jin, what happened to you?!" Jun exclaimed in surprise.
"Where the heck did you even get that kimono?" Kazuya chimed in. "And what's with your hair?!"
"Kazumi?" Lars suddenly said, getting up.
And to their surprise, the two men hugged each other. Jun scowled and separated them.
"What's wrong with you?!" Jun exclaimed, exasperated.
The two men looked at her before turning back to each other.
"Is this our Kazuya's wife?" Jin asked Lars, looking surprised.
"It is, Kazumi," Lars said, his voice sounding a little deeper for some reason.
To Jun's surprise, Jin hugged her. Jun shoved him off, weirded out.
"Jin, quit fooling around," Jun said, slightly worried and creeped out. She turned to her husband and frowned. "Kazuya, are you guys planning a prank?"
Kazuya shook his head and raised his hands in surrender. "I swear, I have nothing to do with this."
All of a sudden, Jin rushed to him and caught him in a tight bear hug, much to his surprise.
"Kazuya, I missed you so much!" Jin exclaimed, nestling his head against Kazuya's shoulder. He pulled away from the hug and looked at the confused Kazuya with a wide smile. "You've grown so big. But I'm sure, the five-year-old I know still lives in you."
And to his surprise, he pinched his scarred cheek.
Kazuya just turned around and silently left the room.
"Kazuya, where are you going?" Jin called after him. "Aren't you happy to see your mother?"
There was a thud somewhere in the middle of the hallway. Jun started rushing out to see what the sound was, but Jin and Lars pushed her aside, running forward instead.
"What the heck is wrong with them?!" Amber asked Jun.
"I don't know, but something's not right," Jun frowned.
She pulled Amber and started running out of the room too.
