Don't give up on me

Chapter 4

I went to see who wanted to meet me. It was Kim Taehyung.

" What are you doing here? " I asked.

" Looking around. " he said. I gave him the I don't believe you look. He sighed seeing my look.
"Fine. I came to meet you. I asked jieun about this place."

" Traitor. " I said under my breath.

" What? " he asked not hearing what I said.

" Nothing. What do you want?" I asked.

" I want to know you more." he said.

" NO! YOU HEARD IT. LEAVE. " I said getting hyper. Which got me in short of breath. I started coughing.

My oxygen tube wasn't helping. It has measured amount to serve oxygen. I was coughing so bad now. Tae didn't understand what to do. Sara isn't with me.

" H-hosp-pita-al. " I somehow managed to say that to Tae. He got it and immediately took me to the hospital.

When they were taking me on the stretcher I fainted.

I opened my eyes to see the white ceiling. I blinked a few times to clear my vision. I looked around and saw tae on the side of my bed sleeping. He had tears on his cheeks. He cried!? I tried to move my body. I felt a stinging sensation on my stomach. Due to my movement Tae woke up.

" You awake? " he asked. I nodded.

" How long was I fainted? " I asked.

" For long enough. Like 28 hours. " he said. I was shocked.

" What? " I asked. I was feeling pain on my stomach.

" Don't move. " Dr Lee came in the room.

" Dr Lee why am I feeling pain on my stomach? " I asked.

" You went through a surgery dear. Your skin got infected around the food tube towards your stomach. Sara didn't even notice that. " Dr Lee said.

" That's not her fault. I don't let her check me inside out. " I said.

" Then you should've noticed. " Dr Lee said.

" On weekend I got a check up. Did you notice? " I asked sarcastically.

" It's good to see you are joking around. But here take this fast. Then you need to take nebuliser. " Dr Lee said and handed me my meds boxes.

" Are all this for medication? " Tae asked looking at the boxes. Both me and Dr Lee nodded.
"What are these? "

" Pancreatic enzyme supplements, multivitamins, mucolytics, antibiotics, bronchodilators, anti-inflammatory agents, CFTR potentiators, correctors... " I was continuing but got cut off.

" Okay okay. Everything went over my head. I only know multivitamins and antibiotics. " Tae said.

" I hope you never have to know this. " I said while putting some medicine in my mouth.

" How does it taste? " he asked.

" I don't know what the foods I eat taste like. I can't even remember how they used to taste. " I said.

" That's why we give her food through the food tube and let her eat only 1000 cal per meal. Her digestive system isn't working. " Dr Lee said.

After 20 mins straight I finished taking my meds. Dr Lee had to leave to see another patient. She gave me the nebuliser before leaving. I can do the rest myself. Tae was still waiting here. I told him to leave but he won't. After that I closed my eyes and leaned on the bed.
