The next morning I woke up and got ready to go to the hospital.

I bid bye to my parents and cuddled with buddy then left for hospital. Mom, dad they'll be there before the surgery.
I drove to the hospital then went up to my room by lift. Jimin was waiting infront of my room with tae. I stood across them.
" You guys arrived before me? " I asked. They nodded.
" Our house is closer. But tae came even before me. " jimin said. I looked at tae. He was biting his lips.
" You look more nervous than me. " I said to tae.
" I'm afraid of injections, surgery, operation. I don't like it. " tae said.
" But... I'm doing the surgery. Why are you nervous? " i asked.
" Be it anyone. I'm afraid. " tae said. I'm" I remember he cried at the age of 20 when he had to take a vaccine because he fell sick. " jimin said. Tae shot a stern look at jimin. I tried not to laugh but failed. I was laughing without sound and my body was shaking.
" Aiyah~ I'm afraid. " tae excused.
" You're clearly scared. " jimin teased. I laughed more.
We were teasing each other when Dr Lee came to us.
" Guess you are ready and not nervous. But I'm so sorry Amreen. " Dr Lee said. Three of us gave her a confused look.
" What's wrong Dr Lee? " jimin asked.
" Actually last night there was an emergency so we had to use the lungs we kept for your transplant to save that patient. We are sorry. " Dr Lee said.
" Why are you sorry? Of course to save that patient at that moment was more important. Don't be sorry for that. If you said you didn't save that patient because of me I'd rather die than to transplant that lungs." I said.
" Oh just shut up. " tae said sternly.
" Don't worry we have talked to the transplant bank. New lungs will arrive at the end of this week. We'll make sure to save that for you. " Dr Lee assured.
" I knew you won't sit back. " I said. " What would happen to me without you? " I asked dramatically.
" You'd die certainly. " Dr Lee replied jokingly. I laughed it off. Jimin smiled and tae was pissed. " And I won't let that happen as I'm here. " she said.
" Thank you Lee Mamma... Oh! Inform my parents. They wanted to come before my surgery. " I said. Me and jimin sometimes call Dr Lee Mamma for fun. She definitely treat us as her children so she likes it. She had dedicated all her life in saving people in the hospital. She did get married but had divorce afterwards because her husband didn't want her to work. But for her this hospital, the patients, her work is everything. She loves to see the smiles on patients and their families faces when she saved them. That means more to her. Whenever she gets break she goes and talk with the patients, cheer them. We feel the motherly affection from her.
