Don't give up on me

Chapter 16 (One sided confession)

After taking our lunch we were walking in the park nearby. It had a lake around. We were enjoying the breeze coming over the lake.

" Guys we did everything what everyone wanted. Can we go to the theme park now? " jieun pleaded.

" Sure we can. " jimin said.

" On one condition. " I said.

" What is it? " jieun asked.

" Don't take dangerous rides. We are gonna take the rides together. All of us together. No one is gonna wait for others. If you are okay with this then we can go. " I said.

" Fine. " jieun said and pouted.

" Good. Then let's go. It's getting dark. " jimin said. We stood up and started walking on the way to the theme park.

By the time we reach the theme park it's already dark. There were a lot of people. Me and jimin wore our mask and gloves to stay safe also keep others safe. We roam for a while and came around the merry go round. We bought tickets and went to enjoy the ride. Me, jieun, tae, jungkook sat on the horses each whereas jimin had to sit on the cart with Mei. So typical clingy couple.

We went to the arcade next. I was trying but failing to catch a doll. Tae suddenly approached me.

" Which one do you want? Doraemon? " he asked.

" No. Pikachu. That one. " I said and pointed to the one I want. He tried once but failed. Then he tried again but this time he picked something else. It was a rabbit eating a carrot. He handed me that but I was pouting sadly.

" Sorry. I tried. Wait. I'll try again. " he said.

" Let's move to the next ride guys. " jieun announced. We had no choice but to move.

" It's okay. Maybe next time. Thanks for this one." I said. He nodded and we went with the rest. We ate ice-cream and some staff's from the stalls in the park. They were nice. At last we went to the Ferris wheel. Now pairs are decided. Jimin and Mei, jieun and jungkook, me and Tae. The wheel started moving. As it was going up we could see the night city view clearly. So beautiful. I took out my phone to take some pictures.

" Do you know this Ferris wheel is very famous among couples?" tae suddenly said.

" Jimin and Mei must be enjoying then. Good for them. " I said still focused on taking pictures.

" Do you know why it's famous? " he asked. I know but I shaked my head a no.

" It's because- " he was saying but I cut him off.

" WOAH. The view is very nice." I said.

" It is. From here we can feel how beautiful our city is. " he said. I nodded and hummed.
"So what I was saying is- "

" I should've brought my camera. " I again cut him off.

" There is no point thinking about should'ves. " he said. I sighed.
"Will you let me speak? " he asked.

" Who stopped you? " I asked. He raised his eyebrows.
" Go on. "

" Yeah so I was saying why the Ferris wheel is so famous among couples. Because it is said couple's- " this time he was cut off again. But more by something else. There were fireworks.

" Hey look at that. Amaze-balls. " I said. He was pissed. His next move left me stunned, shocked and speechless. He took my face in his hands slipping my mask down and pecked on my lips and put my mask back up. I was blushing so hard. I touched my lips over the mask. This is hella embarrassing.
