Don't give up on me

Chapter 21

*Author's pov*

Tae lifted Amreen up while hugging. Amreen felt a stinging sensation in her ribs for which she winced in severe pain. Tae immediately put her down getting worried.

" What happened? Are you okay? " tae asked tensed.
"Did I hurt you? I'm so sorry. "

" Relax. It's okay. Press the emergency button. " Amreen managed to say. Without wasting any time tae pressed the emergency button. Soon after nurses came in. Amreen was layed down on her bed. Dr Lee also came getting called by the nurses. Tae went out of the room. Jimin also came to see what happened. He spot tae sadly standing out of the room so went to ask him what happened.

" What's this all about? Is Amreen fine? " jimin asked. The moment he asked tae burst into tears. Jimin got worried on both side. Is Amreen okay and what should he do to stop tae from crying.
" Tell me what happened? Amreen is okay? You were both happy. What happened suddenly?.... Oh please tae tell me. I'm going to get a heart attack if you stay quiet. "

Tae looked at jimin and told him what happened sniffing. Jimin facepalmed himself in tension. Dr Lee came out with nurses behind her.

" Is she okay? " tae asked to Dr Lee.

" What were you guys doing? Tae, you have been taking care of her all this time. Just now you were with her yet... I know you love her and you never meant to hurt her but she just had the surgery. She needs to be very careful. She can move but she can't be one of those jumping girls now. It will take time to recover completely. Right now she is not even close to recover. It takes atleast 3 months for recovery. Now it's only 11 days after her surgery. Take care of her loving her low-key. Don't worry she is fine now. Let her sleep for a while. " Dr Lee said to tae. Tae nodded his head.

" Can I see her now? I won't disturb her sleep. " tae said.

" Of course you can. She is all yours. But be careful. " Dr Lee said. After Dr Lee left tae wanted to enter the room but jimin stopped him.

" Listen boy. You are my friend so I forgive you this time. But if this happens again you will get punished by me. You have to stay away from her for 3 days with every mistake you do. So behave well. I'll come back to see her when she wakes up. Remember to inform me. " jimin said and left to his room. Tae went into the room and sat next to her. Amreen looked very fragile. He couldn't stop his tears. He hold her hands and silently kept crying. After a while he fell asleep too.

*Few minutes later*

Amreen opened her eyes to see the white ceiling. She moved her head to her side and saw tae sleeping holding her hand. His tears were not dried yet so Amreen noticed it. She moved her hand out from his grip and wiped his tears which made tae to wake up.

" Sorry. I disturbed you. " Amreen said quietly. Tae took a while to process what is happening then suddenly looked at Amreen with big eyes.

" Are you okay? Is it hurting anywhere? " tae asked.

" Calm down. I'm fine. It happened at the hit of the moment. I guess too much love is not right for me now. " Amreen said.

" I'm sorry. This won't happen again. I can't handle Jimin's punishment. " Tae said.

" What punishment? " Amreen asked.

" He said if this happens again he will make me stay away from you for 3 days. " tae said.

" Sooo kiddish! " Amreen exclaimed.

" He is. But he cares for both of us. " tae said.

" I know. That's why he didn't say you will have to stay away forever. He thinks no one knows his tricks. Fool!" Amreen said.
