Surprise, surprise, they were all sent to the principal's office. To be honest, they were all expecting it, but they were still bummed out about it. They got in trouble on the last day of school. Fantastic.
Nicole was the first one sent in, and since this was her first time being sent to the principal's office, she was being let off easy. But that didn't stop a phone call to her parents.
Principal Mazur had just finished talking to her mother, and then he proceeded to turn back around in his chair, facing the student in question.
"Your parents are on their way right now." He said, lacing his fingers together. "Now, although that little stunt you and your friends pulled was quite embarrassing," she tilted her head down a bit when he started to glare at her, so she couldn't see the glare soften up a bit. "It is the last day school, and this is also your first offence, so," he sighed reluctantly. "I guess I can let you off with a warning."
Her head shot up with a smile stretching across her face. "Thank yo-"
"But," He looked her right in her eyes with a pointed look. "Do something like this again next year, it's straight to detention for you, young lady." She deflated a bit. "Do you understand."
She cleared her throat. "Y-yes sir."
"Good." He nodded his head in the direction of the office door. "Now, tell Pete Junior it's his turn. And have a good summer."
When she opened the door, it lead to the waiting area. It was completely quiet, except for the soft humming coming from the secretary, Miss Marple, and the sound of her typing. Nicole looked at PJ, who was sitting right along with Max and Bobby.
"PJ," A look of alarm came onto his face when she called his name, and he saw that she was pointing in the direction of the open door. "It's your turn."
"Aw man!" He said, nervously. "Y-you sure he didn't mean B-Bobby? He did most of the damage, I'm completely innocent!"
"Dude!"
She shook her head. "How can anyone mix-up Bobby with PJ?"
"Hey, you never know!" She rolled her eyes and pointed towards the office door again.
"PJ, now." She said with a firm one in her voice. He reluctantly got up, and headed in the direction of Mazur's office, grumbling along the way. Once the door was closed, she took a seat in between Bobby and Max, and rested her face in her hands with a groan. She felt Max nudge her arm with his elbow and she turns her head enough so she could look at his worried face.
"So, what happened? Did you get detention next year?" He asked.
She groaned even louder. "No, worse. He called my mom." Max visibly winced and let out a hiss like he was in pain.
"Oh, crap, I'd rather have detention."
She let out a short laugh. "You can say that again." She leaned back into the chair, and was about to continue, but saw Bobby turned on his side in the chair. "Uh, Bobby, what are you doing?"
He looked back at her with a smirk. "I'm making art." She raised one of her eyebrows.
"What could make art with in here?"
"You'll see."
She let out a sigh and turned back to Max. "Anyway, other than calling my mom, the only thing he did was give me a warning. So as long as I don't do anything stupid, I stay on Mazur's good side."
Max let out scoff with a teasing smile on his face. "You're such a goody two shoes." He let out a laugh when she shoved him in his side.
"I am not. I just don't cause as much trouble as you do, Maximilian."
