"Holy. Crap." Bobby mumbled. Both him, and PJ were staring at the two in front of them, eyes wide. Max and Nicole didn't even bat an eye at the other two present, though. As far as they were concerned, they're the only one's there.
They were still looking at each other in shock, both of their hearts racing, and both of them practically breathless. They were reluctant to move at all, they still couldn't believe that the other was here.
Nicole took in a big breath. "Max." She called him out again, her voice sounding a bit shaky.
Max let out a gasp, a smile slowly forming on his face. "N-Nicky." Suddenly, and without warning, Nicole launched herself at him, and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Max!" She happily exclaimed, a big smile on her face.
Once he registered what was happening, Max wasted no time, and quickly wrapped his own arms around her, and held her tight.
"Nicky! Oh my God, it's really you!" He said, nuzzling his face into the side of her neck. "I missed you so much!"
She let out an airy laugh. "I missed you too, Maxie!" She slightly pulled away, while he still held her in his arms, and looked him straight in his eyes. "Look at you!"
"Look at me? Look at you!" Max said with a raised eyebrow. He took one step back, with his hands still on her waist, and looked her up and down. Just by looking at her, he could tell that her three years in New York had done her good. She had gotten taller, not by much though- she only came up to his shoulders- and that was a fact he was never going to let her live down, her hair had gotten longer, and, the part he definitely noticed, she developed curves.
Damn, she really has grown up. Max thought, his cheeks burning. "Y-You look-" He was cut off by a whistle.
"Smoking hot, Babe!" Bobby interrupted, coming up to stand beside Max, and he held his arms out. "You didn't forget about ya man Bobby, did you Nikki-Cole?"
Nicole shook her head with a smile, stepped back from Max, and walked over to Bobby, accepting his hug. "I missed you too, man." Pulling away, she glances up with a smirk, and pats his shaven head. "I'm loving the new 'do."
He shrugs. "Needed a new look."
Nicole then looked over at PJ, and without a word, she went in for a hug, and her smile got bigger once she felt his arms wrap around her.
She sighs. "You still give some of the best hugs, Peej."
PJ lets out a laugh. "It's good to see you too, Nicky."
"So," At the sound of his voice, she turned back to look at Max, "You're going here, too?"
She playfully rolls her eyes. "Obviously, I've been here for two days actually." She tucks her helmet under arm, and picks her skateboard up off the ground. "Hey, wanna get a coffee or something? I was about to head over to the Bean Scene if you're interested."
Max raised an eyebrow. "Bean Scene?"
"Café right across the street, come on." She responded already walking over to the little establishment, the three boys right behind her.
The café was dimly lit, and was full of customers, some sitting on a worn out couch, and others were sitting at the very few tables that were there, some of them either reading or drinking coffee. Off to the left side of the café, there was a small stage, with purple curtains that were drawn close, and right in the center there were people lined up at small a counter, waiting to give their order.
"Hey, you guys grab a table, Nicky and I will get the Java." Once Bobby and PJ walked away, he wrapped his hand around Nicole's wrist and walked up to the line.
