A few months had passed after the X-Games, the last semester of the school year had passed, and now it was time for all the college seniors to graduate.
Including Goofy.
Max groans as his phone rings, the sound waking him up from his peaceful slumber. He squints his eyes as he picks up his phone and brings it closer to his face so he could see who was calling. His scowl is quickly replaced by a smile once he sees who was calling him.
He yawns as he presses the talk button. "Hey babe, what's goin' on?" He tries to cover up his grogginess, but ultimately fails.
"Not much." Nicole's voice says from the other end. "Are you ready yet?"
Max hums as his eyes slowly begin to close. "Ready for what?"
"You're dad's graduation ceremony, Maxie."
His eyes spring open as he sits up in his bed. "Wait, what?" He looks over to the other side of the room to see that Bobby and PJ's beds were both empty. They had already left. He jumps out of his bed. "Crap!"
Nicole sighs. "You overslept, didn't you?"
"I wasn't trying to!"Max grunts as he tries to pull on his dress pants. "I thought PJ and Bobby were going to wake me up!"
"Well, they're already on their way with Coco."
Max lets out a frustrated sigh as he buttons up his dress shirt. "Okay, uh, I'm almost done."
"Do you want me to wait for you?"
"No you can go ahead." Max quickly puts on his jacket, and begins to look for his tie. "I'll meet you there."
"Okay. See you later, Maxie." After she hangs up, he stuffs his phone into his pocket. After finding his red neck tie, he attempts to tie it properly, but he couldn't do it right.
He groans and lets it go. "Screw it, I'll deal with it later." After grabbing his father's graduation present, he was out the door.

"I'm here! I'm here!" Max shouts as he runs up to his friends, completely out of breath. He stands up straight as Nicole approaches him with a smirk.
"Well, it's about time." She looks at his tie in confusion, and she sighs as she begins to fix it. "Babe, did you even try?"
"Hey, I would've had it if some friends of mine had got me up in time." He emphasizes his point by glaring at PJ and Bobby, but they just smiled at him.
"We love you, Max-Man!"
Nicole chuckles. "Well, at least you're here now." After patting his chest, she steps back and looks up at him. She tilts her head at the fond smile on his face. "What?"
"You know, I don't think I've ever seen you in a dress before." He says, and he pulls her closer to him by her waist. "I like it."
Nicole scoffs. "Don't get used to it. Once this ceremony is over, this thing is coming right off. Don't you say a word." She says playfully as she sees a smirks slowly forming on his face.
He raises his hands. "I wasn't going to say anything!"
"Sure you weren't." Smiling, she grabs his hand, and begins to enter the building where the ceremony was being held. "Come on, it's about to start."

Max, Nicole and the gang all walked across the street after the graduation ceremony had ended, and they were greeted by a smiling Goofy, who was standing proudly in his cap and gown.
Nicole walks up to him, and gives him a hug. "Congratulations. Mr. Goof."
Goofy laughs. "Oh, none of that, Little Nickie, we're family now! Goofy is just fine!"
She chuckles as Max comes up behind her and lays a hand on her lower back. He looks at his dad with a big smile.
"Congratulations, Dad. Here." He hands over the wrapped present to him.
"Gosh, son, what's this?"
"You're gonna have to open it to find out."
Max's and Nicole's smiles widen as Goofy begins to unwrap the gift. He gasps when it's revealed to be the X-Games trophy.
He glances back and forth between his son and the gift. "But this is yours."
Max chuckles. "No, Dad, this is for you. Read the inscription."
Goofy slightly turns the trophy so he can read the words engraved at the bottom. His eyes grow misty. "I might not be your little boy anymore, but I'll always be your son." He looks back up at Max, and pulls him into a hug, which he quickly reciprocates.
"Okay, hugfesters!" They pull away as Bobby, who was now holding a box of pizza in his hand, begins to speak. "Free eats back at the dorm-a. Pizza! Double cheese-a!" Picking up a slice, he eats half of the pizza in one bite.
"Come on dad, let's feast!" Before they could head back, they hear the sound of a car horn getting closer to them, and they turn their heads to the road to see Goofy's girlfriend, Sylvia, rolling up to the sidewalk.
Goofy smiles apologetically to his son. "Sorry son, but I kind of got plans of my own." He walks over to the driver's side after Sylvia slides over.
"I'm really gonna miss you." Max says as he and Nicole walks up to the passenger side. "Sure, it was rough for us at the start, but it turned out to be a pretty cool thing, you here at college with me." He wraps an arm around Nicole's shoulders. "But now it's over, and we'll go on with our own lives and-"
"You didn't tell him yet?" Sylvia questions Goofy.
Max raises an eye brow, and he looks to his girlfriend for an answer. She just shrugs, as clueless as him. "Didn't tell me what?"
"Son, guess what? I got me a job here on campus!"
Max's eyes widen in shock. "But you-"
"So I could be close to you!"
"Bu-But I thought you were-You told me you were gonna-"
He cuts himself off as he sees his father's mischievous smile. "Just kidding!" With a laugh, he drives off with Sylvia, his hat flying off his head from the wind. Max picks it up, and looks at the car with a smile.
"He is so goofy."
"But I bet you wouldn't have it any other way, huh?"
Max laughs, and he hugs her from behind. "No, I wouldn't." He kisses her forehead, and slowly sways them both back and forth.
"Hey, Maxie?" He hums. "Did you ever think we would end up like this?"
He slightly leans back. "Like together?" After she nods, he shakes his head. "Actually, no." Then he smiles, and he presses his lips to hers.
"But I'm so happy we did."
