"We're back!" Hoseok's cheerful voice sounds from the hall.
"In here," Jimin replies and seconds later, three men come strolling into the dining with countless bags of groceries.
"Oh, so that's where you went. You left so quickly I don't even think you heard me ask where you were going," Taehyung chuckles, trying to get rid of the tense atmosphere that surrounded us seconds ago.
"How is she?" Namjoon asks, nodding over to me but addressing Jimin.
"She's fine," Jimin replies, "we were just treating her wound from when she fell."
Namjoon nods before the three left for the kitchen and the four of us separate upstairs.

"You should talk to him," Taehyung says. He's currently sprawled across his bed whilst I pace back and forth along the length of our bedroom.
"Tae don't be stupid. I can only talk to him if I have an explanation for what just happened and clearly I don't so what else do you suggest?" I reply, exasperated.
"Listen," Taehyung sighs. "Hana stop pacing!" I stop at the frustration in his voice. "Listen. The universe has a reason for everything. You of all people should know that-"
I quickly cut him off, confused. "Why would I know that?"
"Because, you escaped a life crafted from hell and ended up surrounded by the only people who knows how it feels to go through what you did. I know it may not feel like it but, you're lucky because we're also the only people who can protect you when your parents come for you." He sits up on the edge of the bed and turns to face me fully.
"When?" I question, making sure he knows he basically just told me my parents are going to find me.
"Anyway, stop changing the subject. You're going to have to talk to him at some point. Either he'll figure out the reason first or you will, but either way, there will be a conversation about what happened in the dining room. Soon."
"Taehyung," I groan. "You just avoided m-"
Before I can finish, there's a knock on the door.
"Shit," I mutter under my breath.
Taehyung shoots up to answer the door. "Jungkook?" He questions excitedly, "what are you doing here?"
"Could I borrow Hana. Please."
"Sure," Taehyung grins, "I don't need her at the moment."
"Kim Taehyung I am not an object that you can just throw around," I glare at him as I move to stand beside him by the door.
"Please Hana, I need to talk to you," Jungkook begs.
I huff, "fine."

"What did you need to talk to me about?" I ask, as if I don't know already what he's going to talk about.
We are walking through the woods, unintentionally heading towards the field. I'm making sure there is a few feet of distance between him and I after the events of last night.
"Do you ever get scared?" He asks out of nowhere.
"I'm human, Jungkook," I scoff jokingly, "I get scared every day."
"Every day?" He asks, his eyebrows raised in surprise as he looks over at me.
"Yeah, usually just before I pass out. It's scary never knowing how long I'm going to be out until I wake up. If I wake up."
"And you pass out at midnight right?" Jungkook questions.
"Where are you going with this, Kook?"
"Hana," he stops, catching my attention and making me stop just ahead of him and turn around. He walks closer to me. "Please don't freak out but I need you to answer honestly. Do you... hear anything before you pass out?"
How the fuck does he know?
"Uh..."
"Please, I need to know," he begs.
"W-Why?" I don't like where I think this is going... at least I think I don't.
"Because I'm trying to figure something out!" Jungkook raises his voice, exasperated.
"Fine! I do. I hear a voice," I reply.
"What does the voice say?" He asks, softly.
"T-That everything will work out in the end. I don't know what he means b-"
"Fuck!" Jungkook facepalms. I move closer and wrap my hands around his wrists, pulling them away from his face before giving him a confused expression.
"Hana," he whispers, "I'm so sorry. Please forgive me."
"Jungkook," I sigh, being to feel frustrated at his vagueness. "What are you talking about?"
"The voice... it's me. You're her, the girl I've been looking for all this time."
I flinch away from him, shocked. "W-What?"
"I'm sorry."
"Explain to me. What exactly are you sorry for," I utter, growing annoyed.
"For everything. For not being more helpful, for not training harder so I can talk to you other than when you're scared." His eyes begin to fill with tears and his pupils shrink with self hatred. "For not saving you sooner," he speaks through gritted teeth.
"Jungkook please," I move closer a little, "please don't blame yourself for what happened to me. It's not your fault. But I'm sorry, I need time to get my head around this. Around why this happened to me of all people. And why it was you. There is so much to think about I," I begin to take small steps backwards. "I'm sorry," I mutter before turning and running back to the house.
