I sat at my desk while Steph was sat on my bed, she hung out a lot these past few days and I'm really glad i have her now considering she's basically my only friend. Mat and i still aren't speaking and Ellie is always busy.

"Have you nearly finished the dress?" Steph asks and i sigh. 

"I'm taking a break" I say getting up and jumping on my bed. "By the way, you're a snake" I smirk at her.

"Excuse you?" She eyes go wide.

"You never followed me back on Instagram, i was waiting for you to slide into my dm's" I frown joking.

"On it" She smiles.

She quickly grabbed her phone and i looked at mine to see no notifications, i frowned slightly but quickly covered it up.

"Aww look at that" I say showing her the notification of her following me. "You're not a snake anymore"

"Lay?" She looks at me confused. "Why does Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello follow you?" She asks.

My stomach turns knowing one day i was going to be asked this, what did i expect?

"I've known Shawn since we were young and i met Camila at a party, we've spoken a few times" I reply and her jaw drops open.

"You say it like it's nothing" She chuckles. 

"Shawn's my brothers bestfriend, we used to date but we're on bad terms" I explain to her, she nods her head at me.

"Is this where you tell me your brother is famous?" She jokes and giggles.

"Not famous, just an upcoming professional boxer" I shrug my shoulders and she shakes her head at me.

"Wow, you really do have a crazy life" She smirks at me and i chuckle.

"It gets complicated at times" I say getting up. "Do you want a bottle of water?" I offer and she nods her head at me.

I walk out of my room and to the kitchen, i grab two bottles of water and Mat comes through the front door with Noah and Daniel.

"Hey" Noah smiles at me and i wave.

"Your girlfriend is in my room" I point to Daniel.

"I knew she was cheating, i just didn't think it would be with someone as ugly as you" Daniel frowns, i shake my head laughing at his joke.

"Can't be that ugly if your girlfriend is willing to cheat on you with me" I wink at him and he shakes his head.

He disappears to my room and Noah slowly walks away heading to the bathroom.

"Layla, can we talk?" Mat asks and i shake my head, i go to walk to my room. "Please"

"What do you want?" I question with a frown on my face, i put the waters down and fold my arms at him.

"I just want to say I'm really sorry, i was just stressed about my family being on my case and college" He admits. "It's not an excuse, i shouldn't of embarrassed you like that"

"I forgive you" I tell him.

"Thank you" He smiles at me and i smile back.

He comes closer to me and wraps his arms around me, i hug him back and rest my head on his chest. I sigh, and he rubs my back.

"Daniel, there friends again!" Noah yells coming back into the room.

"Moment ruined" I roll my eyes pulling away.
