Once upon a time...
There was a man who always stares in the face of the shallow night. His voice was sweet as he calls his lovers name through the night.
At the break of dawn he sings a song.
As kind and sweet as his poisoned heart.
Everyday he lives with sorrow and regret in his heart.
When the night of the ball, he worn a black mask.
To hide his truths and lies.
The dreams of love and hope danced over his head.
As he saw the one he loves dancing to the sound of the piano and violin.
The men were aroused as they saw her smile when she danced calmly. They approached her hoping they will get her love in return.
He chose to admire her beauty from a distance.
As many men fail to persuade her.
He himself knew there was no hope for his lonely heart.
He took a glass from the silver table and drank the golden cider.
When the night came.
He left the ball and went to the balcony.
He sang a song for the one he loves.
The pain and love that lived in his heart were all in his words.
The sad tune filled the ballroom and the air of the cold night.
As people heard his song they began to listen.
The words went to their heart's and tears began to flood their eyes.
As he sang louder the more you could hear his screams in each word. His tears began to flood his blue green eyes.
The silent cries he kept hidden appeared that night.
"Why do you sing such a sad sound?" The voice asked.
He turned around to see a woman in red with tears in her eyes.
"I sing for the one I loved" he said.
Her eyes flickered when she noticed his tears around his face.
"I dance for the one I love" she said.
As he heard her words he knew he never had a chance.
But tonight he learned.
When the night crawls.
He learned to walk.
On a endless tunnel.
