When you left
My world was upside down.
Actually it wasn't upside down
It was gone.

I had nothing to hold on to.
I had nothing to lose
And nothing to gain.

The rainy days were a life time
For me.
I saw pure black and white everyday.
No I didn't just see it
I lived through it.
As of I were in some 80s movie gone wrong.

There was never a single day
Where I could  think
I could ever be happy.

But before I realized it.
Someone came to guide me.
With their hand out
And a smile on their face.
I wondered
Why does this guy want to help me?
I have nothing to give in return.
So what does he want from me?

Little by little
I learned to live with a light
Shining my way each day.
Each morning.

Every single day
I learned something new.
How to make breakfast
How to wash a simple plate
I learned to say
"I love you"
Easily.

I learned to let you go.

Each day
Each night
He was by my side.
When I was getting ready for bed.
He was always there next to me
Holding onto me.

I never thought that I will learn to live a world of colors.
It poisoned my heart.
The colorful colors were always in his eyes.

He always gave me a good morning kiss.
My good morning call.
My heart was shattered.

Broken.

I thought it will never be repaired.
But before I realized it
Someone easily saw them and picked them up.

He was my morning call.
My morning sunshine.
Now I have a reason
To wake up every morning.
To see him by my side everyday
And every step of the way.
