We hide like the shadows at night
We appear in your dreams
Letting you dream of wondrous things
The only thing that ties us together
Are our rings
And numerous dreams
Sometimes we like to appear in your white tainted walls
Protecting you from the trees, that scrap on your windows
We sometimes like to let you dream of meadows
Walking down the golden alley
We care for you as if you were our own
When midnight arrives
The horror begins
Your thoughts of monsters & clouds
Coat your head
With spices from the depths of the ocean land
And fingers that linger touching your body
You clench on your blankets begging for the horror to stop
As you let your tear drops fall, rolling down your face
We help you stop and escape it all
From the pain, that filled your colorful heart
We didn't want to let you fall
And taint your colors
So we protected you
Keeping your smile
Even in your dreams
So keep on smiling
Keep on loving
We love you
So love us too
Harder than you could have ever loved someone
Because we will always love you
We will never forget
To tell you sweet dreams
