I woke up early the next morning, excited for my first day at work in Korea.
Took a shower, picked out a pair of plaid slacks, a matching blazer, a plain white tee, and chunky sneakers for a cool and energetic look.
Mr. Yeon texted me that he had arrived and is waiting in the driveway of the apartment lobby.
I got off the elevator and walked towards the entrance.
"Tannie!"
I turned around to see a black Pomeranian with light brown details run across the lobby into the arms of a man in a hoodie, basketball shorts, and slides.
I could only get a glimpse at what he wore because I couldn't keep Mr. Yeon waiting.
Mr. Yeon sat in the back, while I in the passenger seat.
"This is Mr. Koo, he has been assigned to run errands with and for you, Miss Gon. I will send you his contact details," he did as he said it, "feel free to contact him on your days off as well. Think of him as your personal driver."
I turned to Mr. Koo, he seemed to be the same age as I am, late 20's. He had a sharp jawline and long eyelashes. "He could be a Kpop star." I thought.
"It's nice to meet you Miss Gon, it's a pleasure to be working for someone who will play a big role in Korp Estates."
His voice was deep and brotherly.
"Thank you Mr. Koo, but please, you can call me Jazzy from now on."
The car ride took a while from Hongdae to Gangnam, where the company headquarters is located.
While stuck in traffic, I recalled the pom in the lobby.
Tannie.
That name was oddly familiar and so was the style of the man it ran to.
