Fast forward to the ninth of June, Jill had left to travel with her friends, leaving Jane and I behind. Jane had arrived home just a day ago and I scolded her for doing so. She knew we had to pack and decide on things together.
Miss Holly was already in Korea for about two weeks already. Occasionally sending pictures of furniture and decorations, website links and store locations, and mood boards she had clearly made on her phone. I couldn't see the exact theme that was being put together, but by the looks of the color schemes she had been sending, it was deep browns, grey tones, and dark shades of red. Modern yet rustic, something common but not so.
Jane pulled out the biggest luggage bag from the storage room and rolled it into our bedroom.
"What will you be packing?!" I glared at her, my eyes shifting from the bag to her childish smile.
"We don't know how long we'll be staying there for this time, so I better be ready for anything." She popped the bag open on her bed and started going through her closet.
I, on the other hand, carefully selected my clothes, matching solid colors with prints and vice versa. I honestly did not know what to expect other than attending the wedding, and more shopping. Maybe a little time with Taehyung, but that seemed too much.
"Jane."
"Yeah?" She looked over at me, chewing on her potato chips.
"Do you and Yoongi talk?"
"You mean on the phone?" She took a break from packing and sat on her bed. "Yeah, why?"
"When was the last time you spoke?"
"Before I came home."
"So you guys found a way to communicate, huh."
"Did you and Taehyung not?!" She seemed surprised. Well, of course she was, she left home a few days after we arrived back and had no idea what was going on without her in the picture.
"Yeah. It didn't seem like we needed to."
"You guys are weird." She shot a dissatisfied look. "All the cringey messages and late night phone calls-"
"Huh?"
"Wasted!" She yelled. "Wasted, I'm telling you, Jaz. Why didn't you want to get his contact details. An email would have been good. Old school, but not too old."
She sounded like she was scolding me. I shrugged my shoulders and managed to curve my lips into a smile.
"He didn't ask for mine, I didn't ask for his."
