How could I know
One day, I'd wake up feeling more
But I had already reached the shore
The box Taehyung had given me.
"It's a music box." I said softly.
Guess we were ships in the night, night, night
Ah-ah-ah, ah-ah-ah
Ah-ah-ah, ah-ah-ah
We were ships in the night, night, night
I stepped forward and bent down to pick it up.
I don't remember taking a picture with him.
"When we were walking by the river!" I put a hand on my mouth, realizing. I looked up at Kyle, almost forgetting he was there with me.
"What's that?" he asked, coming closer to take a look.
There was a sudden look of disappointment in his eyes when turn the little box to face him.
"Oh, I guess you met your idol." He rubbed the back of his head with a slight shrug of his shoulders. "I'm glad you finally found someone." He smiled softly, walking to the table and took his seat. "What's written in the letter?" His shaky voice asked curiously.
I was mesmerized by the music, even though it was playing the chorus of a song over and over again, I didn't notice the small scroll of paper.
I walked to my seat, picking my bag up and set it on an empty seat.
I rolled out the scroll and began to read.
"Jazmine,
I am writing this a day before your departure. There are no words left for me to speak, or acts of kindness for me to take, that will tell you and show you how much I truly love you."
