1st Princess Ji Heng of the mortal realm was what they say the example of ladylike and a figure that most women in the courts look up to. She was graceful and perfect. The daughter of the highest concubine in the Kingdom, she was extremely closed to the Princes of the Palace. Dressed in fine silk and red, she was keen to the eye. Ever since she was little, she was very close to the prince. Having a small liking to the 4th prince ever since she was little, she had never gained his love nor his favor back in her. Sitting down in his study, she came to speak to him. Instead, she had already forgotten the cold face of his reading his scroll and avoiding her.

"Donghua

"Donghua." She calls him. "4th Prince?"

Hearing his name being called he didn't even look at her but let out a small grunt as he reaches for his teacup to drink it to only forgotten it wasn't filled. Reaching for the pot she pours it in his cup.

"Thank you." He said as he drank the sour like tea. "What are you doing here? Didn't I tell you not to see me?"

"Donghua...your highness." She fixes. "I know you will never forgive me. But I still wonder if you still have feelings for me."

His scroll slightly slams on the table as he glares at her.

"Princess Ji Heng," He calls out to her. "Am I making myself clear enough that I will never like you nor have feelings for you. You can try and try to gain my heart but my heart is not willingly."

Though his words were cold and harsh she let out a long sigh as she touches her heart. Hoping to gain his attention.

"Donghua, my heart..."

"Don't use your heart disease as an excuse!" He said as he slams down the table. Ever since Ji Heng was little, her heart disease was always an excuse for others to look upon her. However, the only one who had known her dirty little secret was the 4th prince. He had seen her faking it through her gritted teeth. There would be nothing more in his life that he hated was liars sniffing and crawling their ways into his arms. But taking a deep breath, he composes himself as he speaks.

"I know you always find a liking to trick people."

Hearing that she bites her lips as she places her hand down.

"Donghua, why do you like Bai Feng Jiu?" She asked him. "She's nothing to you! She won't get you the throne you wanted! She's a distraction!"

Slamming his hand on the table Donghua threw his teacup across the room. His eyes glare at her. The life of the palace was always the throne. Even if he hasn't heard of her wishes, he had known all Ji Heng had wanted was to be his bride and the Queen of the land.

"Don't you dare say that!" He roars. "As the Princess of this palace, you represent all women in court. You think hate would make you a prime example?"

"Forgive me your highness, but I saw it through you. You wanted the throne don't you?" Ji Heng asked him. "You wanted to be the next king?"

Donghua however didn't even bother looking at her or even hearing her words. Instead, he grabbed another teacup aside and pours in the tea he just had steep earlier this morning. Seeing him abandoning her, she points her eyes down onto the ground as she mutters her words.
