"GOING TO HAPPEN, PEETA.."
--¤☆¤--

Groggily opening my eyes, a searing pain spread throughout my head as I was greeted with a bright white light. If I didn't feel the pain in my head, I would have thought I had died. Stretching my legs out, I winced as a sharp pain shot throughout my left leg, almost as if I had been stung by something. I don't remember being stung by anything. Tilting my head to the right, I found myself looking out what appeared to be a glass door? No, window?

Narrowing my eyes, I could see a figure sitting on the floor on the other side of the glass.Their knees tucked close to their chest and head leaning on their kneecaps hidden from view. Water sat at their ankles, probably at least two, maybe three inches high. Odd. Why was the room not filled all the way? Why only a few inches? Another thing that I noticed was that the figure's hair had been shaved off, making it harder to figure out who the person was.

"Hello?" I whisper, looking to the left.

Sitting in another room, was another hunched over figure, their hands covering their ears. The faint sounds of bees buzzing could be heard coming from that room. Staring carefully, I could barely see the outline of something floating around the room. Dust? A bee? Hanging on the wall in front of them was a large T.V screen, that was currently turned off at the moment.

"Hello?" I called again.

Nothing. Maybe they can't hear me? Sitting up slowly, a wave of dizziness hits me, making me blink a few times. Shakily standing up from the ground, my knees felt like jelly as I tried to stand straight. Leaning against one of the walls, I shift my body weight from one leg to the other in the desperate hope of finding some temporary relief. Hopefully, I could get some pain meds.

Slowly circling the room, the two walls on my right and left side were made of glass. The rest were thick concrete. Looking straight ahead, I found myself also staring at a pitch black T.V screen just like the figure to the left of me. Looking at the t.v screen, it turned on making me flinch at the action. What was Snow playing at?

"Hello?" I called one last time.

At first there was a bunch of static on the screen, but then it stopped. The camera started to roll. The screen showed a view of a dark jungle, in the bottom corner there was a time stamp; 'DAY TWO, 4:49 AM'. Glitching for a second, the video speed's up until it shows Me, Johanna, Beetee, Wiress and Blight. It was the night of the rain. Leaning forward, I silently watched the video, my fight with curiosity and logic was clearly over. My curiosity had won.

"I hate to interrupt, I really do. But, I suggest that we leave. It's possible that nearby tributes or mutts could have heard us." Beetee inputs, as we pull away from each other.

Letting out a small sigh, he was right, we were being too loud and probably told everyone in a ten mile radius. Growling at him, her hand reaches for her discarded axe, ready to cave his head in. Grabbing her hand to stop her, I shook my head at her to show her that it wasn't worth it. We needed him. He was smart and resourceful. It's better to have him as an ally rather than an enemy. Besides, I don't think I could handle seeing someone die.
