I GROANED SOFTLY struggling to open my eyes lids, I shut my eyes and blinked a few times before my vison focused. I scanned the room I was in; I sniffed the air a distinct smell of mildew, sweat and dirt filled my nostrils, I flared them in disdain. I let out a small breath as I felt something tied around my mouth. I tried to push it out of my mouth with my tongue but gave up after a few moments. I looked to see I was surrounded by dark gray cinder block walls, I tried to get up and heard the resonating sound of metal echoing in the makeshift cell I was in. I felt rough metal hitting my skin as I shot my head up to my arms noticing I was chained to a wall.

Am I in a dungeon? I thought as I heard something stir in the far-left corner. I tried to push myself as far back as I possibly could unsure of what was in here with me. I glared at the spot hearing a whimper, I tilted my head like a curious puppy. Cerebus? I thought hearing a whine similar to a dog. I felt my heart drop when the creature stepped into the faint glow of a light that reflected into the cell through a window on the steel door.

I look at the malnourished dog, my heart sinking. Poor thing, how long have you been here? I thought as I stared at its frail body, every vertebrae can be seen through its dingy white fur. Its fur was matted and looked like tuffs of wet cotton it was laying on the cold cement floor its chest heaving up in down in labored breaths. I felt tremendous sadness seeing this innocent creature in pain. My eyes landed on its beautiful eyes Caribbean blue water eyes. It was a light green similar t sea foam. I inhaled recognizing the eyes that seemed dull and muted.

"Rae?" I mumbled against the gag pulling against the chains trying to get closer to my friend. Rae's head merely moved an inch her eyes looking at me in pain. I felt my heart break for her. This was my fault, I shouldn't have left her alone, why is she like this, what did they do to her? All my thoughts were a jumbled mess as I heard a quiet familiar voice.

"Chelle?" She asked her voice came out as a raspy whisper. I nodded my head yes seeing her tail thump against the floor once. I could sense her sad smile. Even through her muzzle.

"At least I got to see you before I die, I at least get to tell you I'm sorry." She whispered; I shook my head no, tears slowly sliding down my dirt covered face. Please don't say that, don't talk like that. I am getting us out of here. I thought shoving myself against the wall closing my eyes, I tried to clear my mind as I opened them angrily, I refused to let her die in this hell hole. I growled angrily feeling the familiar anger encasing my skin like my memory. I yanked against the chains slowly willing my body to be stone but nothing I just succeed in digging the metal into my skin.

"Chelle stop its no use, don't try to save me I already know my fate." She said her voice so broken and defeated I growled animalistically at her and glared at her. Don't you dare give up on me. Stamped my foot in her direction startling her. I slammed my body against the wall yanking crazily at the chains. God damn it! Hela, what do I do! I begged as I heard heels click down the corridor and stop in front of the steel door. I could see familiar Raven black hair. Through the slat of the window, I let out a quiet sigh in hope as I heard keys opening the door. Something wasn't right why would she have keys? I looked up to see it was no longer Dominque but Dean. I glared at him as he tilted his head to the side.

"What's wrong Rocky were you expecting my sister?" He asked crouching down to my level. I snarled against the gag disgusted with him. Where was she, what did he do to her?

"Are you wondering where Dom is? Hmm lets see where do I begin?" He asked pursing his lips together as if thinking and going through a catalog of events in his mind. I rolled my eyes at him backing away from him and closer to Rae.

"Come now, don't you want to hear the story of how I took my sister out and used her body as a ploy to get Rae here?" He asked crawling over to me. I looked at him in disbelief as he cupped my chin in his hand. I yanked my head away and saw the anger flash across his eyes.
