The house was finally fully furnished and unpacked a week after we moved in. We made one of the extra bedrooms a home gym for James, another an office for both of us, and decided on a theatre room for another one. That left us with three guest rooms. I had so much fun designing each room.

James was in the shower. He is getting his tattoo touched up today. He finally rescheduled after he cancelled it months ago. I'm off today too, so I was going with him. He has a room at The Loft that he gets all of his tattoos done. I still hadn't seen the barber shop, so I was excited to go with him.

When he was out of the shower and finally ready we hopped into his mustang and drove over. When we walked in, I loved the way it smelled. Well, that's because it smelled like James' shampoo and after shave.

"I need to do a few things in my office while I wait for Jeremy." He said as he led me to the back of the shop.

"Ok. Thank you for letting me come with you." I said

"You are always welcome here. It's practically half yours at this point." James said with a smile. His office was very nice. He had a large dark wood desk placed in front of the window. There were two cushy chairs on the other side and a big bookshelf and fireplace on the side wall.

I dropped into one of the cushy chairs as he sat behind his desk and powered on his computer

I dropped into one of the cushy chairs as he sat behind his desk and powered on his computer. He worked for a few minutes before there was a knock on the door.

"Come in." James said. A guy with brown hair and striking green eyes stuck his head in the door.

"Just wanted to let you know I was here. I'm going to go set up. Give me about fifteen minutes." He said.

"Ok, that's perfect. Jeremy, this is my fiance, Charlotte." James said, introducing me.

Jeremy's eyebrows lifted in surprise. "No shit. Are you serious?!"

James laughed. "Yeah man."

Jeremy stepped all the way in the room and stuck his hand out to me. "It's good to meet you." he said, still looking shocked. He walked back out the door to go get ready for James.

"I wanted to ask you something." I said hesitantly.

"Whats up, babe?" James said as he put away the papers on his desk.

"How would you feel if I got a tattoo?" I asked him.

A slow smile spread across his face. "I thought tattoos were trashy. Like bumper stickers on expensive cars." He said in a teasing tone.

"Oh shut up." I said with an eye roll.

"It's not about how I would feel. It's about you, Charlotte." James said. "Do you have something in mind?"

"Yeah..."

"Just make sure you really want it. It's permanent." He said sounding like a parent, not like a man that is covered head to toe in ink.
