Chapter 22: First day of school

Travis' POV

Hawk was walking back and forth in the room that we shared. He was pretty mad about earlier.

"You need to sit down. You are going to exhaust yourself" I told him. Sometimes I am unable to understand that kid.

"I should have done something" He said facing me. Now he is either upset with himself or angry with himself. Or maybe both. Yeah probably both.

"You did what you had to do. You stood up for her. Like what every other good boyfriend would do" I answered him. He turned and looked at me.

"So what would you do if it was Lingling instead of Rose?" He asked me. Well that triggered a reaction. I looked at him dead serious and said.

"Punch them in the face" That simple. Hawk turned to me with a face like he had proven his point with what I said. I sighed and stood up from where I was laying previously. I walked up to him and put my head in his shoulder.

"Look, I know that you didn't like the way these people treated Rose but standing up for her was the best thing you could do for her" I said and continued explaining.

"You are Hawk Snow White. A prince, a hero, a princess savior" That's where he interrupted me and stood in front of me.

"To the point Travis" He said.

"What I mean is, you know how to fight and by that I mean both attack and defend. These guys don't know either of them. They think they donut they don't. If you had fought them, you would have created scene in the middle of the street and someone could have gotten hurt. Not to mention that you would have put an even bigger target in Rose's back than she already has and you would have gotten your self one too. And all of the things I'vejust mentioned are bad for the team, for you and especially for Rose" I finished. Men, I didn't know I could be so wise. Hawk was processing what I just told him.

"When you put it like that you actually make a great point" He replied.

"Thank you" I said and walked over to my bed.

"Now go get some sleep. We have a big day ahead of us. And I kinda have a bad feeling for it" I continued.

"Well now that you said it, it will definitely be" Hawk replied teasingly. I thought a pillow at him. Then he went to his bed hopefully to get some sleep. I hope he doesn't stay up all night thinking about Rose. Men, he is so deeply in love with her. At least it's him and not some other stupid prince from school. What? Rose is like a little sister to me. Sometimes I get the need to protect her.

~The next day~

Hawk's POV

We wake up normally and after eating breakfast we took our backpacks and headed to a place close to the school were we will be meeting with the girls.

"So what do you think the new school will be like? " I asked Travis. He's from Earth, he should know.

"I don't know" He asked. I was shocked!

"What? You've never been to an earthly school before? " I asked him again.

"Yes. I've always knew about Fairytale land so my parents always send me to school there" He answered.

"Oh" Was the only thing I could say. I knew Travis' parents moved to Earth to avoid that fairytale madness and honestly I don't blame them, so I've always imagined that he went to school here on Earth. We continued chatting and after a few minutes we arrived at our meeting place and saw the girls already waiting for us.

Rose's POV

We've been waiting for the boys for a couple of minutes when the arrived.

"Good morning ladies" That greeted us.

"Good morning" We said back.

"So how come you are early?" Travis asked us as we started walking again.

"Astoria set the alarm clock early and practically forced us out of bed" I said while remembering our morning.

"What? You know I hate being late for school" Astoria said and we started laughing.

"We speaking of which, there are some basic rules you have to follow when you are in public. Some are, no eating anything related to insects, no use of any object that contains magic, no use of ivy hair, no turning into a frog and no mention of fairy tales and fairytale land. Especially not directly. " Travis explained.

"But Travis, we already knew this" Joy answered and we nodded our heads in agreement.

"I am reminding you that's all" Travis said. Now I think it's time to get into more details.

"Anyway. I'll explain how the school is going to work from now on" I began.

"We are lucky because this week that we will be attending is the Theme Week. So basically in most of the week the lesson instead of having the traditional way, the teachers have discussions with the students based on a specific object or theme. And this week the theme is "Magical Worlds" so basically legends, stories and even fairy tales " I continued.

"So we will be able to say things about fairy tales without sounding crazy" Lingling said. I nodded my head in agreement.

"Also there is usually a field trip included in this week" I tried to be as specific as I could. You never know when you can have the right opportunity.

"Cool as ice! This is going to be so awesome and helpful" Hawk said excited. He can be so cute sometimes. I giggled and he smiled at me and I smiled back.

"Could you two love birds cut it out for a moment? We have work to do" Travis said while pointing at the school. I hadn't realize that we were already here.

We went in and headed towards the principal's office. Since it was my ald school I already knew were it was so we found it fast. We knocked on the door and went in. To my surprise other was still the old headmistress from whenever I left. She recognized me almost immediately and we started chatting for a little while.

After explaining everything, she looked at our files and told us to follow us in our new class. Not to my surprise she put us in my old classroom with my old classmates. The principal introduced us with different surnames of course. We couldn't risk exposing our real ones. And she also explained that we were exchanged students form another private school. Don't ask how. I don't know either. My grandma took care of the details.

To my surprise and joy, I saw that my favorite substitute teacher became a permanent one and she tough this class literature and language. Perfect! After all that, we took our seats and started talking with our classmates so we can get to know each other better since Mrs Thomson, that was her name, suggested it.

Needless to say that not all my classmates were thrilled to see me again here and to be honest, I would love more than nothing not to be here. Suddenly a peace of paper was throne at me and was folded nicely. I opened it and read.

"Great to see you again. We have a lot of catching up to do. See you at recess.

~Sofia"

I turned it around and wrote on the back.

"Can't wait!!!

~Rose"

I folded and through it back at her. She saw it and smiled at me and I smiled back.

"This is going to be an interesting week" I thought while looking around the classroom.

And this is for now everyone one. This must be one of the biggest chapters I have ever written. I hope you liked it. Also I will be going on vacation with my family for the nest couple of weeks so I don't how often I will be able to update but I'll try.
