Chapter 18: Revealing the truth

Rose's POV

I found my self in a dark room. I was looking around but there was nothing, just darkness. Then a light appeared, revealing a beatuful young women.

"Hello Rose" The women said kindly.

"Em...hi. Do I know you?" I asked her. She just giggled at my question.

"Oh Rose, it's me, Rosabella" She replied.

"Rosabella?! But aren't you a......." I began saying but I stoped myself after that might insult her in a way.

"A snake. I know. I still am. But I had to brimg you here to worn you. There is almost no time left. You have to hurry. Only united can you win" She said and looked worried and terryfied at the same time.

"I...I don't understand" I replied. She started faiding away. What's happening?

"Hurry! You have to be united! Good luck" Was the last things she said before vanishing. Sudenly the room started to dissapear and I started paniking. The thibg I knew was that I woke up in my bed covered in cold sweat.

"I was dreaming?" I asked my self. That was not just a dream. I'll think about it in the morning. I still need to get some sleep. I have school tomorrow.

~At school~

"Guys!" I yelled as I reached our usual hang out place.

"What's wrong Rose? Is someone hurt?" Joy asked me with a voice full of concen.

"No, no. It's nothing like that" I said and she calmed down.

"Then what happened?" Lingling asked me.

"Last night..." I paused trying to find the right words.

"I was visited by Rosabella" I finished. The gang looked at me weirdly.

"Isn't she dead?" Astoria asked me but before I had the chance to answe, Travis interapted me.

"She mifht saw her ghost. Dead people can turn into gostes sometimes in order to worn the livings" Astoria looked at him in a way that said :"I don't know if what you just said really smart or absolutly dam"

"I didn't saw a goste. I saw her in my sleep" I said in order to answer their question.

"Seeing snakes in your sleep means you have a lot of enemies. On the other hand we already knew that" We turned around and saw that the voice we just heard belongs to Hawk who was staring somewher in the distance. He noticed us staring at him after a while.

"I was saying my thoughts out loud weren't I?" He said. He is kinda cute when he is embarast.

"Wep. And she said nothing about snakes. She just said that she saw Rosabella in her sleep. And last time I checked, Rosabella was not a snake" Astoria said. Hawk and I looked at eachother and laughted awkwardly. Astoria looked at the both of us suspiciously.

"What are you guys not telling us?" She finally asked.

"Nothing" Hawk and I replied quickly. We want to keep that place our litle secreat for now.

"Aha. This is not the fist time you two hided something form us. So we deserve to know at least that" Astoria told us.

"What do you mean?" I asked her confused.

"You haven't told us anything about yous first kiss. Also you haven't told us Hawk, where did you find Rose the day thay she disappeared" Lingling continued Astoria's interigation. Sometimes it's really creapy and annoying that hey think almost the same.

"We have bigger problems to worry about right now than mine's and Hawk's relationship. Rosabella said we have to hurry, that we are running out of time and that only united we can win" I said. We had to come back to our subject.

"But we already are united" Joy comented.

"I thinj she meant Kira. We have to tell her everything. She deserves to know" I said. The others didn't look so happy with what I had just said. I know we can't comepletly trust her yet but stil....she is kinda family anyway. Hawk's sigh interapted my thoughts.

"As much as I hate is, I have to remind  to remind you that we have promised Kira that we would tell her everything when we figer out the truth and heroes always keep their promises" He said. I had a confused exprasion my face while he was talking.

"Whene?" I asked.

"Long story sort, where you were banished we went to find Rosabella's daughter who happened to be still aliveand on our way backwe promised Kira that we will help hwr learn the truth" Lingling explained. I have so many questions night now but I think it would be better to ask them later.

"Great! So let's go get Kira" I said in my usual enthousiastique tone of voice.

"Look! There they are" Joy pointed at the normal trio of Vicky, Cirys and Kira who were coming out of the school.

"We have to find a way to get Kira here without Vicky noticing it" Lingling exclaimed. She is right. Who knows how Vicky will react if she learns that we want to talk only to Kira and in privet. Not good that's for sure.

"I got this" Travis said excit don't like that. Travis' plans don't usualy turn out to be so good and from the look o  everyones faces I think we share the same thoughts but it was too late to stop Travis. He grabed Kira by the arme and covered her mought with his hand so she wouldn't scream and brought her here. I can't belive him! This was realy rude!

"Relax. We've brought here to talk" Travis said in order to calm Kira down who wanted to brake free.

"You have really nice ways of doing just that you know" Kira saod sarcasticly.

"What is so urgent that we have to talk like that?" She continued looking very annoyed.

"We want to talk about what we discuss in the forest almost a month ago" Hawk said with a serious look on his face.

"Folow us" Astoria said. Kita nodded and folowed us quitly in the secret room of the Library.

"So this is what has happened and what we descovered from the end of last school year up untill now" Astoria said and started narrating everything that had happened. When she finished Kira had an amased expration all over her face but before she could say anything Fala, Hawk's sister who has just started working at the school as a teacher's helper, came into the room.

"Guys the teachers wish to speak to you at the Grand hol right now"
