Here's the thing I was talking about last chapter. This event was drawing a Pokémon in armor or armor inspired by a Pokémon.
I had several ideas for Pokémon armor. I originally intended on Kommo-o, but the more art and gijinkas I saw of it, the more I realized that its design is too "tribal" for a medieval armor theme. Then I wanted to do Rhyperior but wasn't really inspired. (I did want the weapon to be one of these things (idk what they're called) since it reminded me of Rhyperior's tail.)

I tried thinking of Pokémon that would fit the medieval theme and Gallade came to mind. I thought Gallade armor would be too easy, so I made it harder by making an armored Gardevoir instead.

Wounded in the war, her knight dies in battle. Now she must take up the sword. She is dressed in her funeral dress after mourning the loss of her knight Mega Gallade. She has taken on a helmet and sword styled after him.
