"Whatever, I don't feel like talking." You replied to Alyssa as you opening the box of glasses placing them into the cabinet. Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months with no communication with Keith. "I can't keep lying for you y/n, talk to him." She said as she picked opened pregnancy test boxes throwing them into a trash bag. "The answer to these test won't change and neither will your stomach." The door shut as she walked out with the empty brown boxes. Your eyes stapled to the wedding band that sat on the counter of your new condo.
Distance grew between not just Keith and you but with your family. Your mom called occasionally to hear your voice yet to back him. You changed your number and threatened to do it again if your family members gave it to Keith. For the first time in 7 years you were now alone. No one could pinpoint where you were located except for Alyssa.
Only time would tell if you'd ever want to see him again. Looking down at your small pudge of a stomach, you failed to admit that You and Keith were bringing another life into this world. Your love from being away didn't fade a tad bit to say you mourned for him.
Centering the picture of you two correctly on the wall; Keith thought of moments that brung the both of you joy as of the first apartment the both of you shared and the both of you taking the firsts steps into your new home that you once shared. Most of all your wedding day. Keith's heart yearned for you and your smile. He missed your laughs and the facial expressions you would make at him.
"She'll be back Keith, don't worry." The words came from Emily's mouth as her head laid against his back. "I hope so." He said as he turned to turned to face her. Even though Emily eyes were filled with sincerity her thoughts screamed differently. As keith walked away a smile appeared on her face as turned your wedding picture on the stand down. Glimpsing down at her phone Justin named appeared as an incoming call. "Just know you'll always have me, I have to run but I'll see you later neighbor." She yelled from the front as she took steps out of the door walking across the street.
"Talk." She said as opened the door to her house. "Looks as if Mrs. Powers quitting her soon, everything is going as exactly planned." Justin spoke as he sat in front of your condo looking at you with binoculars. Emily went to her computer as she saw pictures of your latest moves. "Did you get any information on that friend of hers?" She spoke as she sat the phone down on speaker. "Alyssa G., 22 years old with two sisters. Parents of a nurse and retired college professor. Graduated from UCLA with an 3.9 GPA. Oh she's an interior designer." Emily looked at the hidden camera she placed in the blind spots of the house as she became memorized by Keith. "Well don't I have the best fake ex husband."
Justin smirked as you came to the view from your place. "Couldn't have asked for a better wife." He said as he hung up the phone. Justice would soon come to him as seeing your marriage crumble brung joy. For two years straight Justin and Emily plotted to see how they could possibly hurt you and what better way than your precious marriage.
Y/n was the one to close the deal on their final hopes of holding on to business the two owned. The numbers yet alone marketing skills just wasn't there. Forcing them to close the bond to take you down was impeccable. Studying for schedule the two became obsessed with you. As Justin followed you through the day he became very dependent on the revenge that would come to you.
Walking into your now once old job to drop of the latest closed deals you were greeted you with a warm smile by your assistant. "Mr. Powers did his daily calls and left more flowers. Here's the messages that were left." She passed the index card as she gave you the new assignments. "I already had them removed from your office, White roses."
Sitting at your desk with the door closed unbutton your coat as you hit your answering machine looking at your assigned work. "You've changes your number I see, Your assistant and I have became mutual friends now." He let a small chuckle as he went on to say "I love you and I miss you. The Rodriguez's had their monthly fight again apparently Marie has been taking money from the savings account again." As Keith repeated the words I love you before hanging up you felt a flutter in your stomach.
"Come on kid." You said looking down at your stomach. You spun around and stopped out your machine as you rubbed your stomach rising from your desk. You knew what you had to do and you dreaded it.
Walking to the past the desk you sat down paperwork. "I'll be out for a few, if anyone calls tell them I'm going home for the night." Your assistant nodded with an thumbs up as she was on a call. "Have a good night Mrs. Powers, something looks different about you. New skin care?" You looked at her with her lost for words. "Ye-yeah, I've switched a few things up."
As you sat in the driveway looking at the door you grew fear to see his face. "Go y/n." Alyssa replied over the phone. "I'll be right here if anything happens." As you walked to the door you stood there for a minute before reaching for the door bell. As you saw Keith appear through the frosted glass door your heart became to pound. "How much was the pizza agai-" He said as he opened the door looking from his phone. "Y/n?" You looked up at his face as it grew pale from shock. "Pizza for dinner huh." You gave a slight smile. "I just got off of work and thought I'd come by."
"Come in please." He widened the door as you walked in closing it. "Did you hire a maid" you looked around to see the house was spotless. "No, your mom swings by every Sunday." You laughed at him "sounds like y/n/m/f/n." (your mom's first name) "Which one was it this time it was too dusty for her or she saw the fridge." A smile appeared on his face. "Both."
As you walked into the living room taking a seat your feet killed you, as they were swollen. You took off your shoes and sat them to the side. Keith sat across from you as he looked at you remembering what he missed, You. "So how have you been? Marie is going to keep fucking around until she overdrafts their accounts again." You said looking at him. "It makes no sense that their child is swindling out of $20 every I leave out the house. I can't eat, I'm broke" Keith replied in a joking way. Going to the door getting the pizza."someone's been watching lottery ticket over." You laughed as you put your shoes on. "I should go to let you enjoy your meal." Keith took the pizza into the kitchen and grabbed a plate. "We've been together for 7 years, don't play with me y/n. Get in here and eat." You came into the kitchen as you grabbed a plate. "I still see paper plates are your best friend." You looked at him as you grabbed a slice of pizza. "This is not a dish washing household."
Keith eyed you as were eating, he questioned many things. One of them was how you didn't take the wings for yourself which was rare you didn't touch them. Two y/n hated supreme pizza she despised him for liking it. Yet she was on her fifth slice. She was a fan of half cheese and pepperoni. Extra of either or to be exact. No wings tonight?" You looked at him as you chewed your pizza shaking your head. "I've had the worst heartburn."
As the hours passed you and keith shared laughs as the two of you caught up on the neighborhood gossip to memories the both of you shared. Keith leaned over as he kissed you, leaning backwards as you held his face you felt keith trying to unbutton your jacket. "Now I remember why I despised you for liking supreme." You turned your head siting up laughing. "Spend the night?" He said with his puppy dog eyes. You sighed as you agreed. "I have work in the morning." Keith smiled as he rubbed up your thighs. "Nothing has changed from me being your alarm clock."
Emily watched as you walked into the bedroom that the both of you shared. Her eyes spotted that you wore Keith's oversized 49ers shirt to bed as her skin boiled with anger. "Count your days Mrs. Powers." She spat out her mouth as her fist clinched before slamming her laptop.
