A/N: It pick up where chapter 9 left off.

-Freddie? Freddie do you heard me?

-Huh?

The singer shook his head, he felt like he had disconnected himself from reality for a few seconds. Jim was sitting next to him on the couch waiting for him to be perfectly lucid before speaking.

-What's happened, asked Freddie.

-You were telling me about Winnie then suddently you got lost in your thoughts, his man answered softly.

-Haa sorry, he huffed taking his face in his hands. I just saw a boring memory.

-You seemed sad, Jim told him a little worried.

There was a slight sigh in response, it was true that this memory wasn't the happiest but the singer didn't want his man to worry about him. He slowly raised his face and gave him his velvet eyes before stroking his cheek with his fingertips.

-How could I be sad when I have this adorable face in front of me, he said tenderly.

Despite a little heartbeat Jim remained neutral then gently pushed his hand away with the same sentence:

-Not in front of others.

Freddie shook his head and rolled his eyes, it was still frustrating how the Irishman was so reserved and distant in public. But everyone was different anyway and Freddie couldn't blame him, it was even an advantage because at least their relationship will be safer and less risky when they return in England.

-Melina can you come help me please?

-In your dreams Joe I don't cook, he replied taciturnly, his usual tone when it was about cooking.

-That's why I'm asking you to come and fill the glasses you idiot, answered the young man with a mocking tone.

-Yeah yeah make fun of me!

-Come on lovers we will drink to your story, exclamed Felix clapping his hands making a painful noise echo.

Jim just shook his head as a sign of a slight exasperation, he was just dating a rockstar nothing to do with a wedding. He softened when Freddie took him by the hand and led him to settle in with him, right next to him. The table was already filled with dishes that all seemed equally appetizing as each other, The Irishman wasn't a big eater but this time he will make an exception.

-I'll give you two minutes the time that I serve everyone, Freddie said kindly.

-Is this your first German meal Jim, asked Felix.

-Yes, he replied simply with a nod.

-I'm warning you darling: if you dare say it's disgusting, you insult the whole Germany!

Jim just chuckled, in the end everyone had found what they wanted and it was really what you could call a family luch. Time ran its course and while most of the guests were sitting in front of the TV or out smoking, Freddie wanted to enjoy an activity he loved with his man.
