Friday evening, just before departure.

-It's alright Jim, did you take all your stuff, asked the rockstar.

-I think it's good yes, he made sure he hadn't forgotten anything and closed his overnight bag. I still can't believe you managed to convince me to come with you.

-I know how to be persuasive my dear, smiled Freddie proudly. But admit that deep down you want to spend time with me.

-Two weeks without working anyway; I'll cringe on my next paycheck.

-Oh please darling will you take the work out of your mind? You have the chance to spend a vacation in a beautiful city so let your nerves breathe a little, continued the singer more persistently to convince him.

Jim was silent but he admitted that his boyfriend was right, although it wasn't likely to be a vacation like he claimed they were going to be able to spend more time together. Freddie went to spend the last minutes with his cats, even if they weren't going to stay two weeks along, he had asked his group to come and watch them when they had a free moment. Faithful to him John had volunteered first.

-Melina, Phoebe and I are ready to go, said Joe with his bag in his hand.

-Great my dears! It only remains to wait for my man and we can go.

The interested wasn't long in coming.

-I'm ready baby; we can go whenever you want, confirmed Jim.

-Alright then, exclamed the singer clapping his hands. Let's go back to Munich!

Jim therefore prepared to cups of tea then went to join his boyfriend who was gazed out of the terrace windows. They kissed and then took advantage of the sun's rays.

-Such a beautiful weather today, whispered the singer.

-What are you planning to do today, his man asked him.

-Stay with you, watch TV, walk around the flat...I wish to spend a calm day.

-Joe told me yesterday that you spend over a year in here, why?

Freddie took a sip of tea then looked outward, he seemed melancholy.

-There are several reason, he started softly. The first is the one you know, I made a lot of friends here and I consider them as my second family.

-Mmh mmh.

-And what's good about Germany is that people are much more tolerant than in England; I could finally be who I am without having to hide or look over my shoulder all the time.

Nodding, the Irishman wanted a little more closeness and cuddled closer to him. He doesn't look his boyfriend in the eyes and do not notice his delighted face.

-Tolerance is so different from one country to another, murmured Jim. I lived it between Ireland and London.

-You feared nothing at home but now you have to hide too, concluded Freddie with a slightly pained voice.

-Yes but at least now I'm not alone, even if living alone had never really bothered me.

This sentence echoed strangely in the rockstar's ears, he turned his eyes wide open to his man before taking on a more neutral face.

-I'm not afraid of loneliness you know, sometimes it's even better. But I'm very afraid of having no one to confide in when times are tough and contrary to what people may think I'm a big romantic; but I'm Freddie Mercury so they often see me as...(he couldn't find his word) they think I'm a...
