Friday 19 July, 8h10.
Freddie crumpled his pillow in a desperate attempt to sleep but it was only the umpteenth failure. The day wasn't going to be pleasant for him, he didn't want to do anything except find a little comfort into Jim's arms who had just woken up and whose body he felt leaning over him.
-Good morning my love, whispered the Irishman softly.
-'Morning darling, answered the singer simply.
-Oh you're badly awake today, what's going on?
He received a weak sigh in responce, his boyfriend mumbled to him that he didn't want to speak now but Jim knew him well enough to understand that "not now" meant all the day; so he put his bare arms around him and breathed peacefully into the back of his neck. Freddie's behavior was not sudden, already yesterday afternoon he seemed terribly distracted but it was only after a phone call in the evening that he became completely lost. Jim was sure he had heard him cry.
-Do you need to be a little lonely?
-Please...I will join you later, said Freddie, stiffening.
-Ok, if you need anything let me know, added his man putting a light kiss on his shoulder.
-Mmm...
The Irishman went downstair to wide open all the windows in the house and made himself a cup of coffee which he decided to sip outside, there was already a beautiful sun whose rays were softened by a gentle breeze. Jim heard soon after something scratching at the door and when he opened, Tiffany pointed the tip of her nose to take some fresh air as well.
-How are you today sweetie? You know that at times your owner worries me, he said ruffling the feline's head.
The cat was unwilling to listen to a conversation and hurried around the garden, this reminds Jim he had flowers to transplant; one of the rose bush began to be cramped in his corner of ground. So it was the good time to take care and after finished his cup, the man went to equip himself with the necessary equipement then go down to the task.
Several minutes later.
-That's it buddy, you will be able to grow better here.
It was time for this to end, the work had taken longer than expected and Jim had even managed to sweat. However his task was not yet completed as there were still some guests to feed: Koi carp. They had arrived last week and they had quickly made the happiness of the house but never to the misfortune of the cats.
This time outside had given Jim an opportunity to think about what could upset his boyfriend, he expected he had overheard his conversation with Joe yesterday which was about his return to Ireland to visit his parents. It was the most logical explanation but he preferred to wait at least the beginning of the afternoon to talk about it with Freddie.
-Darling, the interested called from the balcony.
-What is it baby, answered Jim, turning his head in his direction.
-I would like you to come and give me a hug, said the rockstar a little louder.
-I'm coming, I finish with the carp and after I will take a shower before joining you.
This was how the day went on, Freddie refused to stay in his corner and continually claimed the presence of his man and since the latter thought it was his way to say goodbye to him he always answered present. Whenever he wanted, he let his boyfriend be on top of him to give him tender hugs and gentle kiss, often they both stayed on the sofa watching television. Freddie also wanted to make Jim listen an opera disc but not a record like so many others.
