The match had just started and you found yourself in the one and only Moonlit River Park. You weren't really fond of this map because of how big it was. In fact, you didn't even want to be in this match because it was late. The only reason why you decided to join was because your 'child' gave you the puppy dog eyes.

Child? What child?

We're talking about Helena of course. You couldn't stand seeing the hunters constantly bully her, so you swore to yourself that you would make sure she wasn't the first one to be found.

How?

By running straight to the hunter of course. That was 'ALWAYS' a great strategy. Just kidding. It was not. Especially because you happened to be running away from the hunter right now, which happened to be Smiley Face.

You ran towards the working carousel then into an area with several pallets while Joker was catching up. He happened to be right behind you, so you decided to drop the pallet to increase the distance between the both of you.

'Much better' you thought with your eyes closed, and sighed a breath of relief. Until you realized...

You were on the wrong side of the pallet.

Needless to say, Joker klonked you, but instead of running away, you stood still while mumbling, which made Joker confused. In a situation like this, you would seize the opportunity to run away while he recovered from attacking, but you were just there, insulting yourself.

"You fool"

"You dingus"

"You idiot"

"You utter buffoon"

"How could you drop the pallet and be on the wrong side"

There were two clowns in this match and they were you and Joker, but deep down, we know that the only true clown in this match was you. In fact, you were not just a clown, you were the entire circus.

Joker, who was now concerned for you, decided he would be friendly this match and that he would have a little chat with you.

"Listen kid, I don't know what happened to you, but don't let this mistake drag you down this much. There's always room for improvement and uh... Mistakes happen to everyone and so you should treat this mistake as something you can uh... Learn from..." Joker said, unsure of what more to say since he wasn't really the type to motivate survivors.

Only hearing a little bit of what he said, you replied with "You're right..."

"Now say it with me, I AM NOT A CLOWN!" Joker said. 'Wait what the fuck did I just say' he thought immediately after saying what he said.

"I am not a clown..." You followed, but you were lousy.

Deciding to continue whatever he started, Joker said "Be more confident in your self and say it again with confidence!"

"I was told that the most confident people are stupid..." You replied, still lousy.

"DID I SAY YOU WERE STUPID?" Joker practically yelled at you.

"N-no but-"

"THEN SAY IT WITH MORE CONFIDENCE! DON'T LET SAYINGS FROM OTHERS DEFINE WHO YOU ARE! LET YOU DEFINE YOU!"

"I am not a clown." You said, still lousy, but not as lousy as before.

"DON'T BE SHY, MORE CONFIDENCE"

"I Am Not A Clown"

"I KNOW YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT"

"I AM NOT A CLOWN!"

"THAT'S NOT GOING TO GET YOU ANYWHERE IN LIFE, GIVE ME SOMETHING LOUDER!"

"I AM NOT A CLOWNNNNNNN!" You screamed as loud as you could. It was so loud that you could have sworn you heard glass shattering in the distance.

"Okay okay calm the fuck down!" he said with his hands raised up as if he was surrendering, ending the motivational screaming session of the century.

[Meanwhile with your teammates]

Helena, Margaretha, and Mike heard someone, presumably their fourth teammate, screaming "I am not a clown!".

"That must be (y/n). No one else can scream as loud as that." Helena said, relieved that they were safe. The three of them ended up decoding together under the assumption that (y/n) was kiting the hunter.

"Hey wait, why were they saying they weren't a clown though? I wonder if the Joker did something..." Margaretha said, curious since he wasn't friendly very often.

Tired and sleepy from the match, Mike suggested they all return to the manor. After all, the hunter decided to be friendly, and all of them were tired from this late match anyway.

After all that screaming "I am not a clown!", you never felt better. In fact, you felt so pumped up that you felt like you could do a backflip. You thanked Joker and even offered him to chair you, to which he responded, "No".

He dropped you off by the dungeon instead and the two of you bid farewell.

'What a nice guy' you thought to yourself.

[In the Hunters' Manor]

Sobbing could be heard from the kitchen as Xie comforted Fan, who was apparently sobbing because his precious tea set broke in front of his eyes after someone screamed "I am not a clown!"

Joker arrived to the scene a few minutes later and asked, "Woah, what happened here? You look like you saw a ghost, except your face looked so horrid that the ghost ran away, leaving you in te-"

"Okay okay shut up! What happened was..." After Xie explained what had happened, Joker ended up laughing while Fan struggled at telling him to stop.
