The other survivors would often tell you that you were the biggest counter against one of Jack's abilities. Often times, when they knew he was going to be the hunter, they'd ask you to swap with one of the chosen survivors. However, you always happened to be busy everytime they asked, so today would be your very first match against him.

You met up with your teammates in the waiting area and asked them for a bit of information about this 'Jack' they kept speaking of, and how you were supposed to counter him.

"So basically, once he gains enough presence, he can turn invisible. This is where you become SUPER useful," Norton said.

"So what exactly am I supposed to do? Throw an egg at him?"

That's right, your ability involved throwing eggs, but you called it 'Egg Manifestation'. For some reason, you are able to pull out eggs out of nowhere and throw them at the Hunter's face to temporarily blind them.

"Precisely!"

There was a bit of silence. You didn't really understand how that would counter him yet. "Um... Isn't it going to have the same effect? You know, blind him... Or something...?" You asked.

Martha chuckled and said, "oh, you'll see how that can counter his ability soon (y/n)."

"Okay then..."

The sound of glass shattering signified the beginning of the match. You couldn't help but wonder how much the budget of this game was. They sure had a lot of glass for shattering, huh? Also they have so much rocket chairs. Do they buy them in bulk?

You opened your eyes and found yourself on the big boat of the Lakeside Village, so you immediately started to decode the machine near the stairs. After a few seconds, you heard a bell and Norton yelling that the hunter was chasing him.

'He can do this. He's a good kiter with his magnets and all,' you thought.

That is until you suddenly felt your heart slowly starting to beat faster and Norton yelling, "The hunter has changed target! Beware!"

"Well lucky me, the hunter is near me!" You alerted your teammates and jumped off the boat.

You weren't the best kiter, but you could kite for a few seconds as long as your eggs kept magically appearing in your pockets. Jack was only getting closer and closer, and he started becoming invisible. You quickly dropped a pallet while he tried to hit you with his fog blade, but missed, which then resulted in him revealing himself.

"Hey, wait, is that an egg?" You asked then pointed somewhere behind him.

He quickly turned around, just like you expected, then turned to look back at you. "What e-" he was interrupted by you throwing an egg to his face.

"Egg."

You then ran towards the shack by the cornfields, but he was still chasing you. He started turning invisible, but you noticed that he didn't clean the egg from his face, so you ended up seeing a floating egg. You then realized that your skill ended up making his invisibility kind of pointless, so you planned your next egg sabotage.

"HELP, A FLOATING EGG IS CHASING ME!" you yelled, making Jack stop for a moment.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN FLOATING EGG? IT'S M-" he was cut off yet again by you throwing another egg at him.

"Egg."

You ran behind him, assuming he didn't see you. Jack was a safe distance away from you once again, but he wasn't planning on changing targets just yet. You only needed to kite long enough for your teammates to decode three ciphers. You weren't sure if you could do it, but you knew that you should at least try.
