You and Fiona were close. Close enough for the others in the manor to think you were a couple. The two of you never made it official, though despite that, it seemed like it was.

Every morning, the first person you'd see was her. She'd wake you up with a warm hug, and the both of you would just stay there for quite some time until one of you decide to get up for breakfast due to a grumbling stomach.

Whenever there were matches and the both of you were in it, you'd always be together. Sometimes, the hunter ends up not wanting to bother the two of you because of how cute you looked together. If you were in a match without her, she'd make sure to spectate your match and cheer for you. You also did the same.

On days where none of you were assigned to matches, you'd stay together in the library, talking about yourselves or about what you guys liked.

You've always found it endearing when she talked to you about her interests. They were quite out of this world, unbelievable, illogical, but you found her rambling absolutely adorable.

She also loved it when you talked about your experiments and discoveries. She'd learn a thing or two whenever you talked about them, and sometimes the results of your experiments seemed as magical as her Holy Keys.

It was only after dinner that the two of you would separate ways.

"Goodnight, my dearest," you smiled and gave Fiona a kiss on her forehead, eliciting a giggle from the her.

"Goodnight to you too, my love," she said and gave you a hug that the two of you wish lasted for much longer if only it wasn't interrupted by a certain perfumer.

"God! Just get married already," Vera said, sounding like she was about to sob.

Martha, mad that the sweet moment you shared with Fiona was ruined, dragged Vera by the ear saying something along the lines of, "Don't you dare interrupt them again!"

Seven days remain...

It was around 12 midnight. You sat by the window of your room and saw a familiar figure. A figure of a man in a suit along with a black cloak accompanied by a black hat. It was the grim reaper, but oddly enough, you weren't scared. You were expecting him to come and warn you of your last seven days.

The last seven days of your life.

"We meet again, huh..." You told the man, a bit of sadness hidden inside of your voice. "Is there anything you want?" You asked.

There was silence for a moment, but the reaper decided to speak. "You have seven days," was all he said before he vanished, leaving you alone to think to yourself.

There wasn't much to think of. You've known for almost all your life. You knew the exact date you were going to die, and you knew that you couldn't do anything to stop it.

"Indeed I do," you said, falling asleep shortly after.

...

You woke up to find Fiona cuddling up to you. 'She must have fallen asleep' you thought, and decided not to wake her up and just stare at the ceiling.

'I wouldn't mind spending the last moments of my life in your arms, Fiona...'

...

The both of didn't have any matches today, so you spent most of the day in the library just talking to eachother like you usually do. That is until you decided to bring up an unusual topic.

"If you were stranded in an island with only one person of your choice, who would it be?" You said.

Without hesitation, she immediately answered, "isn't it obvious? I'd be stranded with you of course." She then giggled and flicked your forehead while you just smiled, "How about you?"
