"No one can just deflect the emerald splash!"
You thought that now was the perfect time to strike Kakyoin since he was caught off guard. Ravel's barrier fell to the floor and slithered all the way to Hierophant Green's feet, roping bandages around them. Kakyoin's eyes widened in surprise when he and his stand were dragged over to you.
Ravel threw a flurry of punches at Kakyoin and Hierophant Green. The poor boy now lay on the floor unconscious.
Hey, that was pretty good for a first battle. I guess those years of training paid off.
You glanced over your surroundings, the room was completely trashed and the nurse was injured. Jojo's cheek was also lightly scratched and his leg was cut up. "Here let me patch up your wounds, you're bleeding," I say stepping closer to him.
"I can handle it at home, its not a big deal," he says in a cold tone before pulling his hat over his eyes.
"At home? School just started, don't tell me you're gonna wait 6 hours just to bandage up those wounds," I stare in disbelief. Those wounds could get infected.
"Of course not," he scoffed. "I'm going home right now and you're coming with me."
You tried to look and listen for any signs that meant it was a joke, but he didn't seem like the type to joke around. "What? Why do I have to come with you?"
"We're going to talk to the old man about Dio," He bent down to pick up Kakyoin and slumped him on his shoulders. "You're coming too since you have a stand."
Dio? I heard Kakyoin say that his loyalty was with this person. Maybe my brother's killer swore his loyalty to Dio. I might be able to find him and avenge my brother.
"Alright," you agreed to follow him. The two of you walked together in silence. Somehow the teachers and students didn't stop you two, they all looked scared. You scurried along with Jojo in the lead. You still needed some time to process all the information in your head. So these spirits were called stands, and 'Dio' could control people into following him. Does Dio have a stand? How many other stand users are there?
"I didn't catch your name by the way, what is it?" Jojo questioned, pulling you out of your thoughts and snapping you back to reality.
"I'm Y/n L/n. Earlier I heard other girls call you Jojo, is that your name or..." Your voice trailed off.
"My real name is Jotaro Kujo, people just call me Jojo because of my first name and last name." Jotaro replied.
So they call him Jojo huh? That nickname is kinda cute. Wait, what am I saying?
You furiously shake your head to clear your mind. You were not going to think of Jotaro that way. After about 5 minutes you two made it to the Kujo residence. Both of you padded around trying to look for 'the old man' I suppose. Their house was really big, it even had a bridge going over a river. What kind of house has that? You scanned the area and spotted a a woman with hair that was a light shade of hazel hanging clothes. Must be Jotaro's mother.
"Jotaro's definitely thinking about me at school right now! I feel like I just had a connection with my son just now!" The woman exclaimed while hugging a picture. Seeing the way she was so happy and excited made you think of your own mother. You two always had a good relationship with each other before she passed away.
"I'm not thinking of you." Jotaro said coldly, startling the woman. You thought he was being too rude, if you talked to your mother like that she would have given you the slipper no matter how good your bond was with her.
"J-Jotaro!" She stuttered out in surprise, dropping the picture she was holding. "W-What about school? And who are they? H-He's covered in blood! Don't tell me... did you do that?"
Hey! I did that not Jotaro ٩(๑'^'๑)۶!
"It's got nothing to do with you, I'm looking for the old man." Jotaro silenced his mother. "It sucks having to find him in such a huge house." That was true, their house was unbelievably big.
"I think your grandfather is in the tea room with Mr. Avdol," the hazel haired woman commented. Jotaro walked off without saying a word and you quickly followed behind. You cast an apologetic look at his mother. She gave a small smile in return.
"Hey," Jotaro stopped and looked back. "You look a little pale this morning. You all right?"
"Yay! Fine, thank you!" Seeing her so happy from such a small gesture made you wonder if Jotaro always acted coldly to his mother. You always thought that people had to respecc wahmen.
In the tea room you found two men, one was a gray haired bearded man, and the other one was dressed up in a red robe.
"Jotaro! Why is that boy bleeding and who is that girl?" The old man, probably Jotaro's grandfather, spoke up.
"The boy is Noriaki Kakyoin and he swore his loyalty to Dio. The girl is Y/n L/n and she's a stand user." Jotaro casually explained while laying down Kakyoin on the floor.
"Well, this is no good. He's done for. He's not going to make it, he'll be dead in a matter of days," Jotaro's grandpa grimly stated. "It's not your fault, look the reason this man swore his loyalty to Dio and came to kill you is this!"
He pulled back Kakyoin's hair and it revealed bug/spider thing made of flesh attached onto Kakyoin's forehead. The sight shocked only you and Jotaro, the old man and Avdol were unfazed. It did not help that you had Arachnophobia, the fear of spiders. Avdol and Jotaro's grandfather explained more about the flesh bud; apparently it was formed from Dio's cells and connected to Kakyoin's brain. It was controlling him basically.
"Can't we remove it?" Jotaro questioned.
"The brain is too delicate. If he moved even a little during the extraction, it could cause brain damage."
"I'll take it out with my stand!"
"Jotaro wait-"
"I can pull it out without doing any damage. My stand Star Platinum has enough precision to catch a moving bullet."
The whole situation was making you nervous; someone's life was at risk. You watched Jotaro's stand grab the flesh bud with its forefingers before there was a rush of blood. The flesh bud pierced through Jotaro's hand! It amazed you how Jotaro wasn't even alarmed, his emerald green eyes remained focused.
The flesh bud that pierced his hand crawled up his arm, but he took it out of Kakyoin's head just before it could reach his brain. Star platinum tore the bud in half before Jotaro's grandpa finished it off with some sort of yellow energy.
Sigh, this is a really bizarre day.
