Chapter 5

❴On the plane to Egypt❵

All of you guys booked a flight for Egypt to defeat Dio. Jotaro and his grandfather sat behind you, Kakyoin to your right, and Avdol up ahead. This was going to be a long flight so you decided to rest on the plane. You closed your eyes trying to let sleep take over you when there was an irritating sound.

Buzzzzzz...

You tried your best to ignore it, but it was persistent. Frustrated, you opened your eyes to try and spot where the buzzing was coming from. There right in front of you was a giant stag beetle with pincer like jaws. Your eyes widened in fear - you hated bugs and spiders.

You nudged Kakyoin who was dozing off. "Kakyoin! There's a stag beetle please kill it quick!" You whisper yelled into his ear.

He was startled awake by you and his eyes followed the flying insect. The boy gave you an eye smile and took out a small hankercheif from his green uniform and tried to squash the fly. Somehow it dodged out of its way, faster than a normal bug should be able to move. It moved towards your face, making you let out a small yelp of fear.

"What's your problem woman," Jotaro was alerted by your sound.

"There's a fly and I think it may be a stand. No fly can move that fast." Kakyoin called out Hierophant and tried to kill the fly again, ultimately failing.

"Sit tight I got this." The delinquent said.

Now Avdol and Mr. Joestar were watching all of this chaos unfold. Jotaro's Star Platinum was out and it tried punching the bug to death. Again, it just easily moved out of the way.

"A stag beetle that's faster than Star Platinum? It has to be a stand!" Avdol exclaimed. "I've heard rumors of The Tower of Gray, its a stand that likes to rip out people's tongues. It would also make planes crash and make it look like an accident."

"Someone please kill this fly stand thing!" You literally curled into a ball and snuggled into the jacket you brought with you, as if that would protect.

"None of you will ever be able to kill me!" The fly hollered. It went to the row next to you and flew through the back of the heads of people, coming out with their tongues in it's grasp. "I'll rip out all of your tongues!"

The Tower of Gray wrote 'murder' on the wall of the plane using the blood from the tongues. An elderly man unfortunately woke up and saw the writing and freaked out, but Kakyoin knocked him out before he could wake any other passengers.

"Enough of this, I'll burn it with my magician's red!"

"Wait Avdol, that could be dangerous. Your stand might blow a hole into the plane's fuselage or cause an explosion. My stand is much calmer and would be better suited to fight this stand." Kakyoin reasoned.

He faced the enemy stand with a burning confidence in his eyes. "Emerald Splash!" dozens of emeralds shot out from Hierophant Green's hand and towards Tower of Gray. It weaved in between the gems, and left without a scratch.

"You're stand is no match for my Tower of Gray!" The stag beetle sneered.

"Again! Emerald Splash!"

The attack was useless as the enemy dodged again. You thought of different ways to help Kakyoin since it looked like no progress was being made. One idea popped up, and that was to immobilize Tower of Gray with Ravel's bandages. Then either you or Kakyoin could finish it off. Seemed like a good plan, you just needed to do it subtly.

While Tower of Gray was boasting about his speed, you called out Ravel and made him take off his scarf. You threw it onto the floor and made it slowly slide closer and closer until it was just a couple metres away from the Tower of Gray. Kakyoin noticed your stand, he was eyeing it from time to time.
