"Crossfire Hurricane!" Magician's Red was enveloped into flames and a giant ring of fire was sent flying towards Silver Chariot.
"Is that all you got?! My sword can create a gap of nothingness where I slice the air, which I'll use to cut your flame in half!"The knight slashed the flames, deflecting it and making it go back towards Avdol. To all of your dismay, the attack hit Magician's Red and Avdol!
"Avdol!" Mr. Joestar hollered. "His flame is so strong that he's burning himself!"
Avdol fell to the ground while burning to a crisp, something you didn't expect would happen. You wanted to go help him with your stand, but Silver Chariot's speed was no match for your stand; You didn't want to put yourself in danger at the moment.
Seeing Avdol, Polnareff decided to humour him. "As I predicted! You're dying by your own flame!"
Avdol looked like he was full of rage and fury. Out of nowhere, Magician's Red came hurling towards Silver Chariot, talon outstretched. "You still want to fight me, huh?" Polnareff was a little surprised by the sudden attack, but was quick to defend himself. His stand swung it's rapier and pushed the feathery bird back.
"What was that?" The Frenchman opened his mouth to insult Avdol, but was stopped by Silver Chariot catching on fire. "What?! Impossible! Why are there flames from where I severed him?" Just up front, "Magician's Red" crumbled into a bunch of pieces and fell down.
"That wasn't his stand, it was the statue!"
Avdol stood up perfectly fine and looked Polnareff straight in the eye. "Your eyes were obscured by the flames. Your Silver Chariot only succeeded in slicing through the statue it carved earlier! I told you I was capable of freely controlling flame." Avdol calmly explained.
Polnareff's was wide-eyed with shock. Once more, Magician's Red sent another Crossfire Hurricane towards Silver Chariot. This time, he was hit head on with the burning flames. Polnareff was sent flying back and he tumbled into the ground. He looked like a piece of burnt chicken just lying on the ground.
"If you wanted to fight a fortune teller with predictions, you were 10 years too early."
"What terrifying power! His stand must have melted after that attack! It's over!" Mr. Joestar came out of hiding.
"He's got some nasty burns. He must be dead or close to dead if he's lucky. Well, not lucky" Jotaro commented.
"Either way, he isn't going anywhere fast. His stand is defeated; it's done fighting." Kakyoin reasoned.
Yeah, he may have been burned, but what if he's not actually dead? I mean, stands are pretty inexplicable, but they still exist. Maybe he's still alive and he's just pretending.
"Now Mr. Joestar, let's continue on our journey to Egypt." Avdol started walking off with Kakyoin.
You still felt uneasy about Polnareff, so you cast a quick look above your shoulder. KABOOM! Silver Chariot exploded, the limbs and parts flying way up into the sky. Then, out of nowhere, Polnareff was just launched into the air.
I KNEW HE WASN'T DEAD! I CALLED IT!
"Bravo! Oh, bravo!" Polnareff clapped while somehow floating in the air. He was uninjured and looked completely fine, but how was he floating? Polnareff somehow read your mind; he just smirked and said "Take a look with your inner eye."
You were a bit puzzled, but then it came into view. His stand was holding him up. Didn't his stand just explode though? Silver Chariot launched Polnareff into the air and he landed flawlessly. "This is Silver Chariot with his armor shed! Now it's much faster without all of that extra weight."
