Chapter 16

You and Jotaro made it back to the hotel. You gave him some bandages before he went to clean himself up.

You know, I wonder why he gets hurt so much. I'll be right beside him fighting the enemy and somehow he'll get hurt more than me. This thought confused you for a while.

Jotaro came down into the lobby along with the other crusaders. You walked up to him.

"Hey Jotaro, why do you get hurt so much?" You asked. You just had to know.

"What kind of question is that?" He scoffed.

"Well, I don't know. You just get hurt  way more than me even though we're fighting the same enemy."

"Then I guess they just want to attack me more than you." He answered with a simple response.

"Try not to get hurt next time okay?" You didn't like to see him get hurt, even if it was just a tiny scratch.

His eyes studied yours for a while, before saying, "Alright, I'll try my best."

Hearing those words made you sigh in relief. But then you realized that what you said made it look like you cared about him. You did care for him, but did you care for him in that way?

"I- You'll w-waste Ravels bandages if you don't." You quickly added in, hoping that your stutters weren't that noticeable.

"Can't your stand just make unlimited bandages?" He questioned.

Oh... I forgot about that...

You froze and stared at him with wide eyes, not knowing what to say. It felt like both of you stared at each other for an eternity, until he spoke.

"Alright alright, I'll be careful next time." Jotaro turned and walked away to join the crusaders.

When he was far enough, you let out a breath you didn't even know you were holding. You looked towards the crusaders' group and noticed Anne lightly skipping towards you.

She stopped in front of you and smiled. "Y/n I'm going to miss you!"

That was right, she was going to stay in Singapore with her father.

"Awe, I'll miss you too." You leaned down to Anne's height and gave her a hug.

"So Y/n, do you like that Jotaro guy?" She whispered into your ear.

You quickly stood up, making Anne laugh quietly. "I don't!" Your voice shook slightly.

"Come on, it's obvious! Your face is beet red!"

You covered you face with both of your hands.

I do care about him a lot, but not in that way... Do I like him?

Apparently you stood there for too long because when you looked around, Anne was gone. She probably said goodbye but you were too busy to notice.

Finally you were on the way to India. You were sitting at the same table as Kakyoin and Jotaro, but because of the 'incident' you sat beside Kakyoin.

Curse you Anne! You made my life 10x harder!

"Now I know the man with two right hands is called J. Geil..." Polnareff muttered quietly. 

You didn't really listen to what the rest of the crusaders said. This train ride was going to be peaceful, and you just wanted to eat your cake quietly. Beside you, Kakyoin pointed to Jotaro's plate.
