Zach's POV 

I am walking into the store when I bump into someone. "Hey I'm sorry I wasn't watching where I was going" The person says. Why does that voice sound familiar? "Zachy?" Thats why. 

"Hi Kay" I say, my teeth are clenched. How the hell does she have the nerve to call me that after what she did?

"Sorry old habits die hard, I guess. But listen I am super glad I bumped into. Actually I have been trying to get ahold of you but you apparently changed your phone number"

"For good reason Kay."

"I am really sorry about everything but you have to listen to me-"

"I don't HAVE to do anything Kay."

"Please Zach it is important"

"Sure it is" She really has the damn nerve. 

"Seriously Zach it is. Really really important"

"I don't trust you. Not after what you did."

"I get that and I am sorry. Honestly I am and when you are ready to listen to me," She hands me a piece of paper. "Call me because it concerns you and Madison's lives" She says and she walks away. I try to shake off our conversation as I get groceries. But I can't help but think she was being genuine. I will talk to Madison once I get home, she will know what to do. 

I finally get home. "Hey babe, how was grocery shopping?" Madison greets as I walk through the door. I can't help but smile at the sound of her voice. 

"It was boring, per usual. Actually you wouldn't believe who bumped into me quite literally." I tell her as I set the groceries down in the kitchen.

"Who?" We start to put groceries away as we talk.

"Kay" I say and Madison drops the bananas. 

"WHAT!" She screams as I pick them up and set them on the counter. 

"Yeah she apologized and said shes been trying to get ahold of me and that it was important. I blew her off and she said she was honestly sorry and gave me her number and said to give her a call when I was ready to listen to what she had to say because it concerns both of our lives."

"Of course she did."

"I don't want to believe me but something is telling me to"

"I want to forget about her babe"

"So do I, but what if she knows something that could save either of our lives." 

"Drop it"

"Baby"

"Zach I said drop it"

"Bu-"

"Zachary Dean Herron! Kay has caused us nothing but trouble. Did you ever stop to think that maybe she saw that we are happy and just wants to ruin that?"

"Of course I did Madison."

"Then drop it. Because that is obviously what she is doing" So I dropped it, but the thought that she could be telling the truth never left my mind. 

*The next morning* 

Still Zach's POV

"Madison, I know you don't want to see or talk to Kay but I want to hear what she has to say! If you still think its bull shit then we leave and never contact her again but it won't hurt to hear her our and see if she is bull shitting us. That way at least if it is true we will be prepared" 

"Zach I said drop it"

"Babe, please. Lets just hear her out please!"

"Fine Zach. But doesn't mean I am going to be nice"

"No one said I was going to be nice either" I say and Madison nods. I message Kay and tell her we are ready to listen. We decide to meet up at the park. We get there and sit down at a picnic table. Not too long after, Kay walks up and sits down. 

"Hey, you two are so cute together by the way. I am SO sorry I got in the way of that. Thank you for hearing me out. You guys don't know how hard I have been trying to get a hold of you" Kay says. 

"Kay cut the shit, why are we really here?" Madison says. 

"Kassidy is planning something" I feel Madison tense up and so do I. God I haven't heard that name in years. I squeeze Madison's hand. She looks at me and I can tell she is scared out of her mind. Kay and Kassidy possibly teaming up? Not good at all. 

"How do we know you are telling the truth" Madison asks. 

"You just have to trust me Madison and I am begging you do listen. I know Kassidy is absolutely no good. I don't know what exactly she did to you guys but I do know that she is no good at all. I could tell the minute I met her."

"Okay, so what is she planning?"

"Well obviously she wants Madison out of the picture. She wants Zach for the followers. She never actually loved him."

"No dip. What is her plan though"

"Well to break you guys up. She plans on breaking you guys up in any way she can. Whether that be making it look like one of you cheated or somehow making you fight. I don't know exactly how she plans on doing it, but I do know she plans on doing it somehow." Madison and I look at each other. Things were going so good. We are engaged. Living together. Planning our wedding. Planning our future. Now Kassidy is trying to ruin it all. 

"She's not ever going to leave us alone is she?" Madison asks me. She has tears in her eyes and it breaks my heart. 

"We won't let her break us babe. We beat her before we can do it again. I promise you I will not leave your side" I tell her. "Thanks for telling us Kay. I appreciate it. We have to go though."

"Alright. Thank you for hearing me out. Bye" Kay says and she leaves. Madison and I head back to the house. 

"Do you think she is telling the truth?" Madison asks. 

"Babe I think she is. I never told her about Kassidy and neither did anyone else. When we got back here after tour we all agreed to leave it in the past and never bring it up again. It was done and over with so there was no need to talk about it or tell anyone really." 

"So she met Kassidy. She knows. Kassidy is planning on breaking us up. What do we do?"

"We stick together and we don't let her get to us. We trust each other and we fight for us."

"We got this"

"Hell yeah we do babygirl" I tell her as I smile and I kiss her. "It's us against the world"

"Us against the world" 

Kay's POV 

I walk away from Zach and Madison. He WILL be mine. I will make sure of it. My phone goes off.

Kassidy- Did you do it?

Me- Well duh

Kassidy- Did they believe it?

Me- Yeah they did. Every word

Kassidy- Good now we put the real plan into action

Me- Hell yeah

I roll my eyes and smirk. Little does she know they know her actual plan.
