*the next day*
Abby's POV

I am waiting for Daniel to get home from rehearsals while I make dinner. There is a knock on the door. I walk over and open it. My jaw drops seeing Madison in front of me.

Suddenly angry fills my body and I slam the door in her face. I go back to making dinner. She continues to knock on the door. "Abs?" I hear. "Abby?" But I continue to ignore her. "Abs" "Abigail" I walk over and slam the door open.

"What do you want?"

"Oh thanks I missed you too" She rolls her eyes.

"You lied to us. You disappeared for 4 years like none of us meant anything to you Madison."

"Not on purpose"

"Yeah cause faking your own kidnapping isn't on purpose"

"What does everyone think I fucking faked it?"

"Mommy I thought you said she's your friend" I look down and see a little girl clinging to Madison.

"She is sweetie everyone is just a little bit mad at mommy right now" Madison answers, picking up the little girl. I get a closer look at her and she is a spitting image of Zach.

"Why Mommy?"

"Don't worry about it Aleah" Madison says and the girl nods. "I'm sorry Abby I really am. I am sorry you think that is what happened. I'm sorry that you all think that is what happened. I'm done trying to convince people to believe me. If you do you do. If you don't you don't. I'm done."

"Madison you disappeared on your wedding day. They brought Kassidy in and she passed a polygraph Madison."

"Shes a pathological (OooooooOoooo big word 😂) liar Abby." 

"Come in." I say and she does. I turn off the stove and we sit on Daniel and I's bed while Aleah watches TV in the living room. 

"Abby"

"What happened that day exactly?"

"I had finished getting ready and I was grabbing my stuff to walk out the door when I felt something pressed against my back. I had snapchat opened on my phone so I started recording in hopes the person would say something" I nod.

"Yeah we found the recording" She nods.

"When she pushed me into the kitchen I dropped my purse and my phone. We made it out the back and I saw a guy standing there before Kassidy knocked me out. When I came to I was no longer in my wedding dress and morning sickness hit me hard." I sit for a minute and start to take this all in.

Daniel's POV

I walk up to Abby and I's apartment and unlock the door. I open it and I hear the TV. I walk into the living room and instead of finding my gorgeous fiancee I find a little girl who looks about 3 or 4. She looks so similar to Zach its weird. She smiles and waves at me before turning her attention back to Mulan.

I walk into the bed room and I see Abby sitting with Madison. Wait Madison? Woah woah woah what!

"What is she doing here?"

"Babe"

"No what is she doing here Abby"

"Shes my friend Daniel and yours too"

"She lost the right to be called my friend when she cheated on my best friend and ran off on their wedding day."

"Dani, please calm down"

"No get her out of my apartment"

"Your apartment? I know you mostly pay for it but I live here too. It is our apartment and she is my best friend Daniel. So I decided to listen and let her explain, unlike you and Zachary. She deserves to tell her side of the story Daniel. We heard Kassidy's it is time to hear hers after 4. Long. Years. For 4 years my best friend disappeared. Turns out she was pregnant at that. And you can not tell me that kid does not look like Zach. Do you really think she cheated?"

"Okay yeah the kid looks like him. Big deal. Doesn't mean she didn't cheat Abigail. Okay I have a right to be suspicious she disappeared and the only thing left behind was a video on her phone."

"If you have a problem with her you can leave until we are done here Daniel James. I am not listening to you bash my best friend I just got back. She needs someone on her side Daniel. No one will listen to her side. No one will back her up. So I am going to. If you have a problem then we will deal with that later but we both know it will probably end up with you sleeping on the couch"

"Abb-"

"No Daniel. I am putting my foot down on this! You are not going to argue with me and you sure as hell are not going to change my mind so either you sit and listen or leave and I will call you when we are done. Either way its not looking good for you right now!"

"Fine" I pout. I sit and Abby turns back to Madison.

"Continue Mads" Abby says and she shoots me a look telling me to be quiet. Madison explains her side. (I dont feel like typing everything out and repeating it a million times btw). I really want to believe her but the many nights I spent comforting a crying Zach pop into my head. I am so conflicted on everything.
