*one week later*
Madison's POV

Here Zach, Aleah, and I are at the hospital once again. Today we get the results of the paternity test. We are in the room waiting for the doctor. Finally she comes in. "Okay so today we are here for the results of the paternity test" She says.

"Yes ma'am" I say, nodding.

"Okay so let me look here. Zachary Herron you are Aleah Herron's father." She says. I look at Zach and Aleah. Zach covers his mouth with his hands and Aleah jumps up and hugs him.

"See daddy! Mommy told you! She didn't lie! You know she's always told me I look like you daddy!" She squeals. He picks her up and hugs her close.

"Oh really? I think you look like your mommy quite a bit though sweetie. Mommy did tell me and I should have believed her. You're right" He tells her. He smiles at her and I smile at them. The doctor slips out of the room and lets us have our moment. We head out to the parking lot and I put Aleah in her car seat. I walk over to Zach.

"Hey.." I say.

"Listen I'm sorry I didn't believe you Madison."

"Zach I understand. It's okay, honestly. As long as you get to be in her life I am happy. I know Kassidy told you guys stuff and without me being there to say anything otherwise, you believed her. You had 1 side of the story to go off of and I had just disappeared off the side of the earth. I would have believed her too."

"I still feel bad I should have know you wouldn't have cheated. You used to be my best friend. But then life happened and the world tore us apart"

"Trust me Zach, I know."

"You want to come to the house? Hang out more?"

"Sure. I would love to. I'm sure Aleah would love to see you more" He smiles.

"I sure hope so" I nod and we head to the house. We pull up and everything hits me. Its the same house. I figured he had moved after everything. I stay in the car for a minute and try to compose myself. Zach comes up and knocks on my window. I take a deep breath and open my door. "You okay?"

"Yeah, I'm okay. I thought you moved."

"No. Uh at first I didn't want to let the memory of you go. Then I uh just didn't feel like moving in the end." Zach replies. I just nod and get Aleah out. Zach takes her from me and we go inside. I stop in the door way and Zach continues at first till he realizes I am no longer following him. "Hey you good?"

"Yeah" I nod and we go to living room. He sets Aleah down and she explorers a bit of the living room. We hang out for a bit before we hear the front door open.

"Babe! I'm home!" I hear.

"In the living room!" He yells back. Not even a minute later Kay walks in. She see me.

"Oh hey! I didn't know anyone else was here" She says.

"Hey! How are you?" I say.

"Good. What about you?"

"I'm okay" She nods.

"So I'm guessing the paternity test proved this cutie is yours" She says, crouching down and playing with Aleah.

"Yes she is" Zach replies. Kay smiles at us.

"Madison I hope you aren't mad about Zach and I. It honestly kinda just happened. I was there for him after everything happened and eventually this happened."

"No Kay. I'm not mad at all. I'm happy that he is happy. As long as he is happy I am happy. Honestly." I smile. Well I force a smile. I do want him to be happy but I still love him with everything in me. But obviously I am not going to tell her that. She nods. "Actually we should probably get going. But Zach feel free to text me whenever you want to see Aleah but it is getting late"

Zach nods and walks us out. We get in the car and leave. Aleah and I get back to the hotel and get ready for bed. "Mommy?"

"Yes sweetie?"

"I love you"

"I love you too"
