We talk about the entrance exam a little bit more while we sip our drinks. It is nice talking to Jiro, she seems cool and easy going. It is refreshing having another friend besides Shoto, especially one I can talk about my marks with.

"Didn't you say your marks started hurting the day of the exam?" Jiro asks.

"Yeah and I started getting really irritated randomly- how stupid is that? Doesn't help me find my soulmate at all."

"Well who did you run into during the exam?"

"Well I met Midoriya at the entrance, Bakugo, then Uraraka - she was so cute, and after that a bunch of people when I was using the healing part of my quirk, though I never caught any of their names." I confirm making sure to quickly skate over mentioning the second name.

"Oh~ So you met Bakugo that day?" Jiro hones in.

Ah shit, I can see where this is going.

"Yeah, but I wouldn't call it a meeting. He was a dick to me the whole time. I had the misfortune of being in the same battle arena as him. I did my best to ignore him, but for some reason he wouldn't leave me alone and he ended up trying to pick a fight with me."

"Seems like a trend. Did you ever see his quirk?"

"No, I only saw it for the first time today."

"His quirk is literally 'Explosion'...so..." She says tapping my marks with her fingers.

"Yeah but if he were actually my soulmate he would have told me right? It's sorta a big deal, and he had plenty of opportunities to tell me since after the exam we ran into each other two other times and he never mentioned anything."

"Oh so you've seen him more than for school things huh?" Jiro says, giving me some eyebrows.

"He just kinda showed up." I say a blush forming on my face.

"Ok, you are not telling me the whole story. Spill." Jiro commands. "Don't you want to find your soulmate? Maybe I can help you figure it out."

"Ok ok - you're right." I sigh, as I begin to recall all of my past run-ins with Bakugo. The exam, the meadow, the arcade, that moment in the hall this morning. All of it. It was interesting that I confided so much in Jiro. I even told her about what I had thought would be a kiss, which I had even kept from Shoto. It was easy to talk to her and I guess it helped that she had already shared so much with me.

"Haha it definitely seems like something's up L/N. He doesn't seem to be the type that would be interested in dating, so there might be something there if he has shown you that much attention" Jiro says wiggling her eyebrows at me. "You guys would make a super hot couple. Now, I kinda want him to be your soulmate. I totally ship it." Jiro continues to tease me.

"UGH s-stop!" I blush, burying my face in my hands. "I think you are wrong. Today he told me that I was the last person he'd ever want to talk to. Also remember this morning - he hates the idea of soulmates. He made it seem like it would kill him to be in a bond with someone."

"Yeah but he was really pissed off about something right? So maybe it wasn't a good time?"

"Dude, this is Bakugo we are talking about - he's ALWAYS pissed off!" I sulk.

"Maybe you just gotta seduce him." Jiro says slyly.

I suck in my drink and choke. I look up at her in pure shock. "Haha just kidding! There is no way in hell I'd let you try, you'd probably get murdered." She continues laughing at my distraught expression.
