Chapter 5

Ang P.O.V.

I woke up to Ross planting kisses all over my face. I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him into a kiss.

"Good morning sleeping beauty. Ready for the date night tonight?" He asked, smiling.

"Yeah, but we have to do some packing. We need to get a diaper bag together and maybe that little playpen for the baby. Plus, I got to call Riker." I got up and started walking out the bedroom door. I went into Romeo's room and started to pack everything up. I was half way through when Ross came in the room.

"Are you seriously going to do all the work?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Nope, I got the diaper bag ready, now you are gonna get the playpen packed up and feed Romeo. I'm going to call Riker."

I walked out the room and dialed Riker's number into the house phone. It rung a few times before he answered.

"Hello?"

"Hey Riker."

"Ang? Its eight in the morning, you don't like mornings as much as me. Why are you calling?"

"Well, Ross and I decided we needed a day to ourselves badly since we hadn't had one since the honeymoon. So guess who's watching Romeo."

"Well I know its not a Capulet." I could hear him laugh on the other line.

"Ha.ha. No, actually its you and Angel."

"I can't do that."

"And why's that?" I asked putting a hand on my hip.

"I'm going out with the boys."

"Why wasn't Ross invited?"

"We were going to call him soon, but now he has plans with you."

"Well we won't be able to have those plans if no one watches the baby, can you just ask Angel?"

"Sure."

"Okay, bye."

"Bye." I hung up the phone and walked back to the nursery.

*few hours*

Ross and I had finally dropped off Romeo with Angel and Brianna. It was hard, but we really needed this. I was looking out the window as Ross drove where ever our first part of the date was. I looked over at him as his eyes were fixed on the road. I smiled as I quickly leaned over and kissed his cheek. Afterwards, a smile spread across his face.

"So, where are we going?" I asked him.

"I can't tell you, its a surprise."

"I don't like surprises."

He raised his eyebrows, "Really? We're married and I'm just now finding out you don't like surprises."

"Well, it came recently. Every surprise has been bad for me, so I decided not to think highly of them."
