Four months later. . .

"I'm confused" Liam admitted, his cheeks were slightly pink and his hands nervously fiddled in his lap, Theo looked at him with squinting eyes, although strands of hair obscured his vision slightly he could clearly see that Liam was staring at him, "puppy" Theo sighed, "I asked you to marry me. There's nothing confusing about it" he chuckled, the ring felt heavy in his hands, the red vet box now seemed to small for his hands, his eyes searched Liams desperately, hoping that he'd done the right thing; they'd been together for almost a year but now it seemed the proposal was all too soon, "why?" He whispered, his hands shaky as he pushed them into his pockets.

"Because I love you, I know I don't say it enough, you mean the world to me Liam and I know it's cheesy but . . . I don't think I can live without you" every word he spoke increased Liams heart rate until they were both sure he'd end up having a heart attack, slowly getting down onto the floor with Theo, Liam looked down at the rad box with the ring inside, it was a black band with a set of three diamonds going across the middle, looking between the box and Theo once more the wolf boy smiled, "of course I'll marry you."

His eyes widened, and for a second Theo stopped breathing, warm hands cupped his face as Liam kissed him, it wasn't a lust full one like they usually shared it was once filled with love and passion, "I love you too."

It took no less then fifteen minutes for the pack to arrive at Theo and Liams house, Lydia pulled them both into an instant hug as soon as the door opened, "hey Lyds" they both greeted, Derek patted them both on the back and gave a small, "congratulations dorks" which they accepted greatly because Derek wasn't much of a hugger to anyone else besides Stiles and Lydia, the relationship between all three of them had been expected, in Theo's eyes anyway, he'd always known the spark between Stiles and Lydia would last.

With an arm draped around Liams waist, the couple smiled and once again accepted the compliments thrown their way, Theo had always wanted to ask Mr Geyer if he could marry his son, however due to the passing of both Liams parents, he turned to Scott instead because although he was both of their Alphas, he's always been like a dad to the Beta, "I better be your best man" Mason smirked as he nudged Liam in the arm.

"Don't you mean beast man?"

The duo laughed at Liams joke, it was a bad one but that didn't stop them from roaring in fits of laughter, approaching the two laughing boys, Hayden asked if she could borrow Liam for a minute, Theo pressed a soft kiss again the boys forehead and pushed him in the direction of Hayden, stumbling from the unexpected push he grumbled a few choice words and made his way with Hayden outside into the back garden, which they rarely used, sitting down in the grass Liam and Hayden shared a moment of awkward silence.

"So what do you want to talk to me about?" Liam finally asked, smelling her chemosignals he caught the familiar scent of anxiety, "are you sure Theo's the one you want to marry?"
