"I don't get it, why would Theo take the fall for something as terrible as murder?" Scott asked, "he didn't want us getting kicked out of the pack, said he didn't have as much to lose as we did" Ethan explained to the Alpha, they looked towards the boy sat on the floor with tears streaming down his face, not only had he almost just lost the love of his life he'd potentially just lost his position in Scott's pack, all he wanted to do was save them, "I don't agree with what he's done" he admitted to the duo next to him, "or what you guys did either, murder should never be an option. Theo risked his own reputation to keep you both safe, I respect that" he paused for a minute, thinking his next words over carefully, "I'm just concerned that this could lead to the old Theo, returning."

"Scott, I get the concern, truly, but Theo has only ever risked his life for Liam and you're seriously going to stand there and tell me you're worried about the old Theo Raeken coming back?" Malia asked with an unhappy expression, of course she still held a small grudge against the chimera but he just risked getting kicked out from the pack to keep both Ethan and herself on Scott's good side, "look at him, he's a mess."

After finding Melissa and getting cleaned up Theo made his way back over to Liam, he passed by doctors and nurses that eyed him suspiciously: hunters, thankfully for him a few of Argent's men were nearby watching their every move. They were still waiting for Mason and Corey to arrive at the hospital but for know they were at the station making a police report, "hey puppy" the chimera greeted as he pushed open the door to Liam's room in the hospital, they him connected up to a heart monitor to check everything was fine before releasing him tomorrow morning, "I'm sorry you had to see my eyes like that, I had hoped you wouldn't."

Jackson took over the role of watching Liam while Theo went to grab some food for the group with Lydia, Scott watched the duo leave the hospital and head for Theo's truck that Peter had brought over from the house, surprisingly the old Alpha was being useful. Hayden had gone to the station with Issac to make a report about what had happened - they were only to talk with Parrish and Stilinski, almost every job had hunters employed, especially the police department. Stiles and Derek were still at the hospital waiting for Liam to wake up; everyone was dying to know how Monroe had been able to drag him away.

Sheriff Stilinski made the heartbreaking call to Kira's parents, informing them about their daughters passing; they were obviously heartbroken and devastated but wanted to know what had happened to the man that had killed their beautiful baby girl, Noah had told them that he didn't make it, someone had killed it; they were overjoyed with the news: a life for a life.

"Where am I?" Asked a groggy Liam, Jackson's gaze moved away from his phone and over to Liam, it was good to see him awake again, "hospital, Monroe tried to kill you, remember?" He nodded, Liam remembered all too well, in fact the last thing he remembered was the needle plunging into his neck, "Theo's gone to get some food with Lydia, want me to tell the others you're awake?"

"Please."

Pack members who were still at the hospital rushed to the room that Liam laid in, they were relieved to know he was alive and well, Argents men stood outside the room with a firm grip on their rifles: having all the supernaturals in one place could cause the hunters in the hospital to have a free for all. "Why's Peter here?"

"Good question" Derek asked while looking at his uncle, "why are you here?"

He shrugged, he didn't want to admit that the hunters had tried to attack him too, surrounding himself with Scott's pack and Argent's men made him feel slightly more safe compared to being on his own at home, after an hour Theo and Lydia walked through the door with their arms filled with food and coffee, they'd even brought Melissa and the other doctors and nurses that had helped them dinner, "you are a sight for sore eyes" Stiles grinned as he grabbed some of the drinks out of Lydia's hand to help her, "thanks" she smiled.

They sat with Liam for a few more hours until Melissa came in and told them to head off home, some of Chris's men volunteered to stand guard outside of their homes so they'd feel safe, Theo took the easy option and told Scott's mum he'd spend the night with Liam at hospital.

"Don't - don't touch me!" Liam screamed, he flinched away from Theo's desperate touch, his eyes were wild, his breathing fast and shallow; his whole body trembling with fear, "I'm not going to hurt you" Theo said, gently taking Liam by the hand and holding it firmly, their eyes met, "listen to me, you're safe, she isn't going to hurt you again. I'm here now, trust me, I won't let anyone hurt you."

Liam yanked his hand away in his panic, tears formed in his eyes, "you killed them."

"I lost control Liam, when I couldn't find you I - I panicked and went on a rampage; I didn't kill Jay and Monroe's men for power, I did it to save you - to save everyone. I almost died trying to keep our pack safe, hell I stood in front of a bullet that was aimed at Hayden's face because I knew you'd be heartbroken if she died!"

The couple looked on at one another in silence, if only Liam could understand the horror Theo had been put through during the time he'd been missing, of course Liam still loved Theo and he was thankful that he risked his own life for Hayden but if Scott found out about the murders, he'd be thrown out. "Just don't try and push me out, I'll pick you up tomorrow."
