The waitress hesitated a little bit before she reacted and withdrew herself from the table.

"Boyfriend?" She said sounding a little bit confused.

"Yes, boyfriend." Gu Han replied.

"Oh right." The waitress said and she walked away.

"Boyfriend?" I turned to ask Gu Han.

"She would not go if I was just yoir friend." Gu Han said.

"Such a deceitful liar you are." I said to him.

"Me, I saved your life." Gu Han replied.

"Glad that you said that." I replied.

After a while, the Ice cream arrived and Gu Han dug into his right away.

I stopped for a while as I looked at Gu Han and seemed so interested in the way he fidgeted to eat it all.

He looked wild, like a young child that I couldn't stop staring at the muscular adult acting just like a four year old.

Gu Han stopped most probably after he noticed that I was not eating my ice cream.

He looked at me smiling at him that eventually he spoke.

"Do I look so handsome while eating?" He asked me.

"Yes." My mouth slipped on its own that the moment I realized what I had just said it was too late.

Gu Han laughed but he kept it short and simple.

"It was a joke." I said with a smile hoping to keep things a little bit casual.

"It sounded real to me." Gu Han said.

"I mean it." I emphasized and I started eating my own ice cream a little bit faster than usual in the hope that Gu Han could change the topic.

At that time around, Gu Han stopped and simply looked at me that I felt it difficult for a while to keep shoving the ice cream into my mouth.

I placed the spoon right where it had been and slowly raised my eyes to look at him.

Our gaze met for a while and I felt shy that I lowered it.

"Don't you think that you have stared at me far much longer than normal?" I asked Gu Han.

"I would do it until the end of the world." Gu Han replied.

"Don't flatter me." I said but Gu Han did not alter his gaze from me.

I grew uncomfortable under his controlling and piercing look that I spoke up to him.

"If you keep on staring at me, then I shall be forced to leave." I said and Gu Han stopped.

"Forgive me, I made you so uncomfortable." Gu Han said.

"I am not one to love attention that comes in excess." I said.

"Hmmm." Gu Han replied.

Dusk was begin to fall by the time we left the cafe.

We were walking along the sidewalk which was short of many people at the moment.

"It is getting late." I said.

"I can not survive anywhere in a foreign land at this hour." Gu Han said.

"You are not going to sleep over at my apartment." I said.

"I was getting to that." Gu Han said.

"And I have said no." I replied.

"I surrender." Gu Han said.

"But it is impossible for me to go back on my own." Gu Han added.
