Dejonté's POV
After me and Angie ran out of the shop we quickly made it back to the main side of the alleyway. When we stopped I tried to catch my breath while Anjelica was watching me. The sun is almost gone and the street lights appeared
Anjelica: Geez, somebody needs to get in shape.
Dejonté: It's...it's hot out here. I mean look at you, you're wearing a leather coat how are you not hot?
Anjelica: Well I did a lot of run n' gun jobs in California. I had to get used to it.
I stand straight up and follow her as we continue to leave the market.
Dejonté: So is that where you went? California?
She nods to my question.
Anjelica: I mainly stayed in Oakland but yeah I've been up and through almost all the streets a couple times.
Dejonté: Man, wish I knew what it's like over there. Have you ever been to the city?
Anjelica: Of course, that was one of the first places I visited when I was younger.
Dejonté: That's really cool but we should've took some ice cream before we left because I'm straving.
Anjelica: Well we can't really go back. You have anything else in mind?
Dejonté: Well I was thinking of some Chinese food but uhhh-
Sierra: Hey!
I got cut off as Sierra yells at us throughout the market. She's walking towards us and she doesn't look happy at all.
Anjelica: Damn girl you want to scare everyone here half to death?
Sierra: I don't care. We need to talk.
Anjelica: Why something went down?
Sierra then gets right into Angie's space sizing her up.
Sierra: I'll tell you what didn't go down. Nothing for me to be impressed about. If you screw up-
Anjelica: You're gonna what try to fight me again? Ha, cause that went so well last time. You need to listen and listen carefully, me and Dejonté been out here reclaiming stuff and working our tails off all day. So quit it with the snarky attitude and grow up.
Things started to look more intense so I try to input myself fo calm them down.
Dejonté: C'mon y'all stop that. We did good today alright? Let's not mess that up now by pointless arguments.
They seem like they weren't paying any mind to me as they continue staring down each other. Until Sierra speaks again.
Sierra: Dejonté, you mind giving me and Anjelica a few minutes to ourselves real quick.
I really wanted to say no and cut all this pointless drama out but obviously Sierra wasn't asking no question. Angie looks at me and smiles.
Anjelica: Hey don't worry alright? I'll meet you back at the car, stay there and don't open the doors for nobody.
She throws me her keys and I catch.
Dejonté: Fine.
With that I walk past them and head out the market and into Angie's car.
As I wait and sit for about 3 or 4 minutes I see Angie coming towards me and into the car.Dejonté: What did Sierra want from you this time?
Anjelica: Don't worry about her she's just an annoying hot head.
