Episode Two: Angel's Reaper

Anjelica's POV

Chicago Police Department

After being caught by the cops and the long ride to the police station they immediately threw me into a interrogation room. Leaving me here by myself. Still having cuffs behind my back, and my leg still in pain.

I've been in this room all night and no one has came in. I really wanted to go to sleep, but this wasn't the time for that. I figured they're just messing with my patience and trying to make me go insane. If that's the case...it's kind of working.

I wonder how Evan is doing. Knowing these cops they're probably leaving him up to dry too. I guarantee they didn't fix the cut over his head.

And Sierra..man that girl got me good. So good that in fact that I hate her now. Her whole angry gang member look was just and act the whole time. I should've never been that clueless. Wait a minute, if she's undercover and working for the 3/seventies it's only a matter of time before she breaks down the crew before me and Evan can.

Dejonté, damn. Once the opportunity comes he's going to be the first person they'll be taking in. Hailey said that he's good with a gun so they might even take him as a high level threat. If it comes to that...nah, that won't happen. My head is killing me with these thoughts. Or maybe that's just my leg. I don't know, I just really need some sleep.

I was going to rest my eyes until I heard a door open. It was Sierra and some other cop. He looked like the commissioner. They walked in and Sierra closed the door behind them.
The commissioner walks forward and sits across the table from me.

Commissioner: Hello, I'm Commissioner Gills. Do you know why I'm here?

Anjelica: To give me a slap on the wrist, and me and Evan walk our way out of here?

I say sarcastically which lead Gills chuckling for a little bit before getting serious again.

Gills: The evidence on you and Evan seems to have disappeared Ms. Valentine. Why does that appear so?

Anjelica: Because what we do is dirty.

I glare at Sierra.

Anjelica: and very, very discreet.

She gives me mean look back.

Gills: Officer Yang can you please turn off the security camera in this room?

Yang, as I'm assuming is Sierra's last name, goes to the corner off the room and flips the switch off to the camera.

Gills: You must be a very dangerous woman Anjelica Valentine.

Gills gets up from his seat and walks around the table behind me and takes my handcuffs off.

Gills: And that's exactly what I want people to think.

This surprises Sierra and walks straight up to the commissioner.

Sierra: Sir what the hell are you doing?!

Gills calmly replies.

Gills: This lady and her friend are being released as of right now.

Sierra: Uhh quick question. May I ask why are you letting out some bounty hunting criminal back onto the streets?!

Gills: Because she and Evan can help take down the 3/seventies and all of their accomplices.

Sierra: With all due respect Sir you already have me undercover to put them down, and adding two more trained psychopaths doesn't really help at all.

Gills gets irritated and stares down Sierra.

Gills: God dammit Sierra, they paid us off!

She stands their with disbelief over her face.
