Chapter 35 : The Sponsor

"Aww.. That is really deep.", the host reacted, feeling the bitterness all of a sudden.

"Now I want to cry.", she said in a joking manner, trying to lighten up the mood.

Ohm glances at Singto, unconsciously wrapped his arm around his P's waist as if wanting to comfort him. Singto looked back at him, smiling timidly.

"Alright! We have a surprise for you.", the host uttered, looking ecstatic at her announcement.

Singto's timid smile immediately faded away, turning his gaze towards the direction where he and the rest entered earlier. Both Off and Gun where baffled as well. All the more when they recognized who is arriving.

"Here to congratulate you two couples and also to serenade us with his new single, the hottest Singing idol Krist Perawat Sangpotirat!", the host announced as the instrumental of the music started, playing.

Ohm guided Singto out of the center stage and moved to the side with Off, Gun, and the host to give way for Krist's performance. Singto froze, his knees are shaking but he's feigning to be alright. Gun and Off rushed to his side to support him. The crew of the show brought out chairs for everyone while everyone is busy watching Krist singing.

"Look deep into my eyes and you may see what I'm trying to hide.. Though I never say it out, it does not mean I do not care.. Just like a small tree in my heart growing day by day.. But I am not certain if your heart speaks the same as mine..", Krist sang full of emotion, glancing at each person in the audience.

"When I see leaves after leaves falling off the trees.. Can I pray for our love not to fall apart like these?", he continued, turning his gaze towards Off, Gun, Ohm, and lingers on Singto.

"Because you are the good day my heart needs.. Because you are the only song my heart wants to sing.. Because our unforgettable memories can never be replaced or fade away from my heart..", his tears are starting to form as he saw Singto up close, his voice almost cracked.

He almost forgot his lyrics, his mind and his heart is in combat.

"Oh, God! I missed you so much, Tuan..", he exclaimed in his head, he closed his eyes tightly, suppressing his emotions but his tears betrayed him.

Everyone who was watching him thought he was just touched at his own song.

Krist instantly turned around and faced the audience as he continued singing.

The audience went wild seeing that Krist and Singto are together in one frame, doubled with Ohm, and OffGun couple's presence. The views are off the chart.

The host approached Krist right away after his performance then asked him be seated down in between the two couples. Krist greeted and paid respect to his colleagues as he followed the host's instructions.

"That was beautiful. Who wrote the song and who is your inspiration behind it?", the host then asked after they were all settled.

Singto is trying to keep his composure as he watched Krist's every move. Good thing that Ohm is seated in between them, so little turtle wouldn't notice.

"My friend, Nong Bright created the melody. I wrote the lyrics.", he answered timidly, avoiding to look around, afraid that he won't be able to hold his emotions if he sees his P once more.

He was watching him all this time from the back stage. He was so nervous from the moment his manager said he will have a surprise guesting in the show where Singto and the others will be guesting too. He have been avoiding them for too long and the management has been very lenient towards him just because the major sponsor is his friend, Win Metawin.

10 months ago..

It was all Win's idea to sponsor their supposed series. He only found out about it after they had a meeting with his manager. He confronted Win about it.

"Why did you collaborate with GNNtv? What is your intention?!", he asked.

He rushed to Win's mansion as soon as the meeting with the big bosses were done. He was so annoyed at Win for butting in his business.

Win just calmly smiled at him, gesturing him to be seated. The handsome young man received him in the terrace of his 4-storey mansion.
A maid arrived with a tray of deserts and two cups of tea then served it to them.

"Phi.. My dad asked me if I have something I can do to help our business. I thought about making my own company and for it to succeed, I need effective endorsers. I did not pick you and your friends on my own. I did recommend you. It is still up to my dad and the shareholders on what should be done for the company's benefit.", Win explained to Krist.

Krist sighed and shook his head upon realizing about what happened.

"Now that you've backed out, what is your plan?", the young lad asked, looking concerned.

"I-.. I don't know. I'm just so lost right now. I feel so insignificant around him.", Krist responded, feeling helpless. He told Win everything that has happened. His heart aching as he did.

Win paused for a moment, seemingly pondering. He looked at Krist afterwards and gave him a serious face.

"Focus on yourself and think things through. You can't truly love someone if you don't love yourself enough. That person deserves a whole heart full of love and acceptance not a half hearted insecure Krist."

"Gee.. Thanks. You really know what to say.", he replied sarcastically, forcing a smile. Deep inside he knows, the young son of the business tycoon is right.

"I want to be someone who is deserving of Singtuan before I face him again.. He is worth more than a nobody and an uncertain person like me..", he uttered unconsciously. His tears fell automatically as he remembered his beloved man.

Win shook his head as he watched his senior mourn for his broken heart.

"Man! You suck at expressing yourself.", he sighed.
