Chapter 39 : Beloved Rock

"Can you elaborate what you meant back there?", Tay asked as soon as they got settled in Tay's condominium unit after the dinner meeting.

"Huh?", New looked at Tay in confusion.

"That being someone established and not weighing down your partner.", Tay clarified.

Tay is currently seated on the lazy chair in the terrace, while Newnis standing up, his arms are leaning against the railings, watching the full moon and the bustling streets down below.

"Ah.. Don't mind that. It was just situational ramblings.", New denied, looking uninterested.

"Hin.. I know you're not someone who just rambles on something that deep.", Tay insisted looking at his partner's back. It has been bothering him since he heard New spoke about it. There's uncertainty in his heart, more of fear of losing this man just like what happened to their friends.

For once, even just once. He wishes that this man would open up his heart to him. It is hard to keep on guessing what Newwiee really feels.

"I could only be assuming about us.", Tay thought to himself, sighing.

The bulky lad sighed and went silent. Not wanting to explain himself.

"Fine. Do as you please like you always do. I know I'm just someone who is just a past time for you anyway. As you've said, I don't own you. Sucks for me, I guess.", Tay uttered, feeling helpless in the situation, trying to shrug off the bitter taste of a one sided love.

"Tay..", New uttered turning his gaze towards his lover, trying to find the proper words to express what is on his mind.

He walked closer to Tay, facing the handsome man, then kneeled down in front of him then hugged him. He buried his face on Tay's chest after, as he gathers his courage to speak up.

"I know I am not that good in expressing myself.. One reason is, somehow, just like Krist, I want to be someone you can be proud of.. And I am actually ashamed to call you mine, when I know I am lacking to claim you.", he finally said.

Tay found himself speechless at his partner's revelation. Those bragging and big talk in the past that New is portraying is just actually a cover up to hide his insecurities?

"But.. I want you to know, I can't picture myself being apart from you. In my visions, you were always there. And in my heart, there's no one else but you.. I am actually yours rather than you are mine. Anyone would be so lucky to have you..", he uttered then he hugged his lover even tighter, still his face is buried on his boyfriend's chest to hide his embarrassment.

Tay hugged New back upon hearing his confession, kissing his lover's head, teary eyed in happiness.

"I love you, Hin..", all that he can utter, he doesn't need for New's response anymore. Everything that New said is enough for him to put his heart to ease. New looked up to him gazes into his eyes, looking so sincere.

"I love you more than you know, Mr. Top Model.", Newwiee responded, which made Tay's tears really fall down. He smiled from ear to ear. Trying to contain his happiness.

"I can die peacefully now.", the handsome man teased. Newwiee slap his partner's arm, then looked at him frowning. Tay chuckled, wiping his tears away, pinching New's cheeks.

"Just kidding. It's your fault for making me float in heaven out of the blue.", he laughed.

Newwiee smirked, a naughty thought came to mind as he gazes into Tay's eyes.

"I could lift you higher if you want.", he grinned.

"Shaddup!", Tay chuckled, rolling his eyes, playfully pushing New away.

Newwiee pouted and acted sulking. He stood back up, looking at the horizon, pondering. Tay stood up too then gave the sulky man a back hug, kissing his lover's nape. New turned around to face his partner.

They gazed into each other's eyes, inching their faces closer until their lips met, as they slowly guide each other into the room to express their passionate love once more, exploring each other's body in the dimlighted room on that special evening when their hearts finally moves as one.
