Chapter 7 : Re-shuffle

A few weeks have passed.

Singto and Gun's series has become a hit as predicted. But what is more surprising is the magazine featuring Krist Perawat, Singto Prachaya, Gun Attaphan, and Off Jumpol has been selling like a hot potato. The fans and followers' preference have shifted. They are shipping new names. New tandem. New couples.

GNNtv management has called for a meeting with Singto and Gun. The two are now in the conference room waiting for whatever the management is about to say. Together with them are their respective managers and a couple of executives who will be observing the meeting.

A trans woman dressed in a corporate attire walked in. It was P'Godji, the vice president of GNNtv. She sat down at the end of the long office table then cleared her throat.

"How are you, dear little brothers?", she asked, trying to break the awkward atmosphere.

"I'm doing good, P.", Singto replied in a polite voice, breaking a gentle smile.

"I'm fine too.", Gun answered in the same manner.

"Alright. Let's go straight to the point.", she began.

"GNNtv is being enthusiastic in doing more BL series as per fans and viewers' request", P'Godji pauses as, trying to be considerate of the two young actors' mood.

Singto looked at his P' intently. Gun nods as if waiting for what's next.

"Your series garnered a lot of support, but some are still not satisfied and is asking for more", she continued.

"Those who have availed and seen the magazine which you two are being featured, together with Krist and Off, gave an overwhelming feedback. Which trended in all social media platforms for a week now, as you two might have already seen", she explained.

"OK?", Gun uttered, more like asking what's going to happen next.

"So.. There is a great story which the company has been preserving for the proper time and for suitable actors..", she continued explaining, looking at the couple who are intently listening.

"The leads are pre-selected. There are going to be 3 couples in the series.", she said.

Singto raised his brow, looking puzzled. But nodded his head after a moment, realizing the situation.

"Four more actors will join you later. We just have to clear everything before we publicly introduce them.", she continued. Giving both of the men a serious look.

Singto and Gun just nodded, acknowledging that they have understood what was said.

"Now if you two agrees to it, the contracts are already prepared. You can sign it now or bring it home to further think about it, OK? Do you have any question?", she asked after a long explanation.

"Are we still going to be partners? I mean, Gun and I?", Singto asked.

"Good question.", she straightened up her sitting position then gave another glance at the people around her.

"There might be slight changes in your tandem". she sighed then looked at Singto and Gun.

Gun held Singto's arm, feeling weak and disappointed. Singto rubs Gun's back trying to calm the little guy.

"You see, the major sponsor has a special request about the pair up. We are still trying to have an amicable resolution with them but I think it's gonna be near to impossible to change their mind. And technically, you two, Khun Singto and Khun Gun, doesn't have an exclusive contract as a couple. So.. If ever, we won't be violating anything within the contract.", P'Godji explained further.

"B-but.. P'.. Wouldn't that confuse the fans?", Gun asked. Looking hesitant.

"Well, let's just say, this is gonna be a test of how strong your fandom is. How your followers will react to this. If they really support SingtoGun tandem, we will find it out after we release this project. The sponsors and management might consider pairing you two up again if this doesn't work. But as of now, you two will be paired up with...", she pauses then looked at the doors direction.

The couple automatically shifted their attention to where P'Godji is looking.

The door suddenly opened and four handsome men wearing formal suits came in followed by their handlers.

The four looks flashy and dazzling. They paid respect to elders and seniors in the room, then turned their attention to the famous couple in their presence.

"As I've said, you two will be paired up with..." P'Godji then pointed at the new comers, "them."
