Chapter Eleven

Sam's Pov

Vanessa actually said yes to going on a date with me! I didn't think she would.

I'm going to have the girl of my dreams and nothing could possibly make me happier right now.

Since our date is tonight, I left to go get ready.

I decided to put on a long sleeve navy blue shirt along with some leather black jeans. I put on some vans and then fixed my hair.

I had to look perfect for tonight. It was the date.

I just felt it in my stomach.

I called Vanessa to see if she was ready.
Vanessa's Pov

I was currently getting ready to go on a date with Sammy.

I had all these butterflies in my stomach and was extremely nervous. I never get nervous around boys because I'm so outgoing but with Sammy, it's so much different.

I actually care what Sammy thinks about me. So of course he probably won't be getting dressed all in a tux but I need to be in a dress. It just feels more right then a skirt or anything else.

I put on a Zimmerman red silk plunge drape dress. I put on Christian Louboutin gold fishnet pumps. I put on some 14k silver diamond earrings. I put on a blue nile puffed heart tag bracelet. I then curled my hair.

When I was done, I looked in the mirror and fixed my dress and hair a little, making sure I looked perfect for Sammy.

I then heard a knock on my bus door.

Sam's Pov

I knocked on Vanessa's bus door and waited for her to open the door. I was nervous because I feel like this was gonna go all wrong.

I couldn't let me and Vanessa's first date go bad. It would ruin any chance I have with her.

I heard footsteps walking towards the door and then the door opened.

There stood Vanessa, looking flawless, as always.

She was in this beautiful red dress and her hair was perfectly curled.

Vanessa's Pov

Sam looked so handsome.

I'm glad that I agreed on going out on this date with him.

I couldn't stop smiling at him. He probably thinks I'm a weirdo. Keep it together Vanessa.

"Shall we?" he said smiling holding out his hand for me to take. I gladly accepted his offer and took his hand. He smiled and pulled me in for a quick hug but snuck a kiss on my forehead. I couldn't help but blush and cover my face with my hand.

"You're so cute, ya know that?" he said pulling me close to him.

"You're not so bad your self Wilkinson." I said and winked at him.

We walked to his car and he opened the door for me. I got in the passenger seat and then he smiled at me and closed the door. He ran around to the other side of the car and got inside and closed the door.

"Where are we going?" I said looking over at him.

"The beach." he smiled and started to drive.

"I'm not dressed for the beach." I said looking down at my dress and heels.

"Then I guess I'll have to carry you." he laughed looking over at me and taking my hand in his again.

After driving for what felt like forever, we finally arrived at the beach. While we were parking, I started to take off my heels because I didn't want Sam to have to carry me the whole time and plus they're expensive and I don't want sand in them.

We got out of the car and walked along the water.

We didn't talk, just silence.

It was kind of awkward but I loved the sound of the waves.

It was so calming and relaxing. It put me in my thinking mode. I hate my thinking mode. I usually think about things that I don't want to remember.

"I would say the beach looks beautiful today but if you want me to be honest, it's no where near as beautiful as you are." he said.
