I z u k u ' s P O V

The quirk assessment test that our teacher, Mr. Aizawa was watching went on and on. I was sure I would be expelled by the end of it.

My physical strength had increased sure but I wasn't even close to the level of a UA student.

Then it was time for the soft ball throw. That nice bubbly girl I had met, Ururaka, got infinity. Her quirk was amazing. And now it was my turn.

I could hear people whispering about me and how I would be the one going home, how weak I was...

Each comment pierced through my soul, could I really do this?

Worthless

Waste of space

"Go on Midoriya, we don't have all day." I hear Mr. Aizawa say in annoyance and look at the ball, screw it.

I power up one for all at a 100 percent and pull my arm back, fixing my position I throw the ball and-

"76 meters!"

My quirk, "I was just trying to use it, what gives-" I mutter, "I erased your quirk, were you planning on breaking your bones again," Aizawa says, his scarf lifted up, revealing the goggles resting around his neck.

You can't even throw a fucking ball

"Counting on others to save your useless body? You would be nothing but a liability in battle," he says, wrapping his capture gear around me.

Weak

"With your quirk, there's no way you can become a hero, Izuku Midoriya." He almost spit out his words. They hurt so much and the voices wouldn't shut up.

You can never be a hero

You never even stood a chance

"Take your final shot, don't keep everyone waiting." He said and deactivated his quirk.

I had to use my quirk but I can't break my bones, not here at least. I have to come up with something wait- I know!

If I touch the ball at the last contact distance and launch the blow from my finger, I can minimize the damage and maximize the throw!

What makes you think you can pull that off, Deku!

N-no get out of my head! Not now.

I put my plan in action and it works just the way I had expected it to, "705.3 meters!", only a finger broken, guess I did managed to pull that off huh.
